00:00A few runners were introduced to each other last year

00:03at the 2024 Trilogy Run Asia Awards last night in Mandaluyong City.

00:12The Pinoy and Pinay runners are back together this year

00:16but not on the long road they were walking on

00:19but at the 2024 Trilogy Run Asia Awards held last night in Mandaluyong City

00:25led by RunRio's CEO and founder, Ryo de la Cruz.

00:29The finishers were introduced to each other from different parts of the country

00:32who joined the so-called Run Series.

00:34They deserved to be introduced

00:37because of their inspiration to the public

00:40to spread the healthy lifestyle.

00:43Surprisingly, a lot of runners from provinces

00:47went to get their awards.

00:50So all the finishers or those who finished 1, 2, 3 and the National Finals

00:55got a medal.

00:57And for those who didn't make it here, they can still get it.

01:00It's a big help or a reason why it was successful

01:06because of our partners and also our LGU.

01:09Before, their support was small

01:13but now, it's really big.

01:15They allow us to cross the road,

01:18they provide manpower

01:20to make sure the safety of our participants.

01:24So very happy, very happy.

01:26One of the major awardees of the night

01:28is the Filipino champ, Maricar Camacho.

01:30Maricar was known as the fastest female overall

01:34and age group champion 35-40 category

01:37because she beat Husay in the tournament.

01:40I just feel that I'm the first in everything,

01:43in overall.

01:45It doesn't matter if I'm in 4th or 5th place.

01:48I'm just doing my best.

01:50Everything that my coach says,

01:52I follow it.

01:53You can't just follow it.

01:55If you want to get stronger,

01:56follow your coach.

01:57Meanwhile, Rios also gave advice to the Filipino runners

02:01who want to try the full marathon in 2025.
