00:00The Philippine National Police urged everyone to follow the election laws
00:04so that the country can have a peaceful 2025.
00:09According to PNP Chief Police General Romel Marville,
00:12the various police operations against illegal drugs and terrorism will continue.
00:18The 100-Day Comprehensive Security Plan for the election is now underway,
00:24where the operation against private armed groups and loose firearms was conducted.
00:29This was done with the help of other law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
00:33This is a reminder to the PNP to pay attention to the extended term of Marville.
00:40Meanwhile, several PNP officials, including police regional units,
00:46national support units, and PNP Corps officers,
00:49approved the decision of President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.
00:52to extend Marville's term as PNP Chief.
00:55They also hope that the programs implemented in Marville's first 10 months
01:01as PNP Chief will continue,
01:04just like the faster police response and stronger coordination in the community.
