00:07after the Curling Mixed Doubles in the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China.
00:12This is what my teammate, Daryl Oklares, reported.
00:17The Philippine Curling Team Duo, Mark Feister and Kathleen Duberstein,
00:23showed off their amazing performance in the Curling Mixed Doubles of the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China.
00:29In the Round Robin, the country made a lot of noise because they defeated the Asian powerhouse South Korea with a score of 12-6.
00:39After this, Feister and Duberstein defeated Kyrgyzstan 10-2 and Qatar 11-3 in a row.
00:47The winning streak of the Philippines was cut off following a 6-9 defeat in the hands of the host country, China.
00:54Despite this, Feister and Duberstein immediately recovered against Kazakhstan 11-2 and Chinese Taipei 7-2 to advance to the semifinals.
01:06After the semis, the Philippines surrendered to Japan with a score of 3-10 to go to the bronze medal match.
01:13Here, China was once again ahead of the country, where Feister and Duberstein were defeated again with a score of 5-6.
01:21Although they ended up with a podium finish, the Mixed Doubles Duo was still proud of what they showed in the tournament.
01:52Because nobody thinks that we play for the medals, and it's also our first tournament ever, Mixed Doubles.
02:04Meanwhile, Curling Winter Sports Association of the Philippines President Benjo de Larmente gave an assessment
02:12on Feister and Duberstein's performance in the Asian Winter Games.
02:18We are very happy with their performance in this Mixed Doubles Tournament.
02:23Here in Curling, especially in Asia, the big three Curling countries are China, Korea, and Japan.
02:33The Philippines was included in the top four in the semifinals, and we are about to get the bronze medal.
02:41After the Mixed Doubles event, Feister and Duberstein led the national team for the Men's and Women's Tournament.
