Transcript
00:00Okay, so let me get this right, it's Huw Ann, Huw Ann?
00:03Yes, Huw Ann, yeah.
00:05And you're from Wales, obviously, yeah?
00:07Yeah, from North Wales.
00:09So you're the ideal person, really, to be in charge of the lambs here at Lower Drayton Farm?
00:13Yeah.
00:15You've got some newborns, haven't you, here at the farm?
00:17Yeah, so we've got six lambs so far.
00:19Yeah.
00:21This one's the first one that was born on the farm.
00:23She's born the 31st of January.
00:25Right.
00:27And then the latest one we have is the two that are born on Friday.
00:29Got you.
00:31So one was born in front of customers as well.
00:33And are you expecting any more?
00:35Yeah, so there's still about 80 to lamb as well.
00:3780? Ah, fantastic.
00:39Yeah, roughly around 80 to lamb.
00:41Goodness me.
00:43And some surprises as well, because they were a bit too late to scan as well.
00:45Right, right.
00:47And do you name them?
00:49Yeah, we do name them.
00:51So who's this then?
00:53This is Jan, because she was born the last day of January.
00:55Oh, Jan, that's nice.
00:57She was born after Shaun the sheep as well.
00:59Oh, that's brilliant.
01:01People are free to come along and see them, aren't they?
01:03Is that right?
01:05Yeah, so people can come and see us all through half term.
01:07So we're open from today
01:09and then we're open again on Friday as well
01:11for a week in half term.
01:13And what kind of comments have you had about them?
01:15Everybody adores them.
01:17Says, oh, they're cute.
01:19Yeah, so everybody does like them.
01:21And they ask questions as well.
01:23Are people able to feed them at all?
01:25No, so we don't do the feeding here on the farm.
01:27Right.
01:29But we do do feeding demos.
01:31So whoever's on the lambing barn will make a demo
01:33of how we feed the lambs.
01:35Well, I'm sure they're going to be popular anyway.
01:37Yeah.
01:39Okay, thanks very much.
