00:11A passenger ferry service between Abu Dhabi and other Gulf cities may become a reality
00:16soon, a top official told Gulf News.
00:19Abu Dhabi Ports Company, which manages nine non-oil and gas ports, is in discussions with
00:25a shipping line in starting the ferry service to major Gulf cities. Mohamed El Shamsi, the
00:30CEO of ADPC, said the shipping line approached ADPC and said, �We encourage them to go
00:37ahead with the project.�
00:39Washington is considering direct talks with Iran on the security situation in Iraq. The
00:45move comes as U.S. President Barack Obama weighs options on action to take in Iraq.
00:51Meanwhile, the U.S. condemned as �horrifying� photos posted online by militants that appeared
00:56to show fighters massacring Iraqi soldiers.
01:00Negotiations between world powers and Tehran over its nuclear program start today in Vienna.
