00:00It was my career's toughest for sure, I can say that with confidence and I'm happy to,
00:19I mean it's glad, I'm glad that you're saying that you think that it might be, but I'm very
00:23bad with these things, so I'm just happy that Vishal sir is happy, don't know whether it's my best.
00:33It questions the ability of any actor and I think most actors who've tried to play Hamlet have really
00:39understood the kind of character that they have been given once they kind of delve into it, it
00:43kind of takes a lot out of you and I've always said this, I felt rather inadequate through the
00:49making of the film and I wasn't sure if I'll be able to pull this character off or not. I don't
00:52even know when I'll get a challenging role like this again, like something which is so challenging
00:56and so different and it requires me to change myself completely and go through a physical
01:01transformation, a psychological transformation, an emotional transformation, just you know at
01:06every level it demands so much from you. Grateful that I had this opportunity.
01:15This aspect of it is not really new to me considering the last two films that I've done
01:20and I've been given that task of handling but I think this level of fixing is the highest
01:31so far, so this is as high as it can be. Yeah, I talk to skulls I mean, how much worse can it get?
01:36Look at that, so I have to handle it, it's on my small framed shoulders but very happily so,
01:44extremely happily so and when you have to take the burden of
01:48him, one of our country's heartthrobs and of course him playing Heather
01:57with Vishal, so foreseeing the whole process and the rest of it, the whole combo pack,
02:03it's a very exciting combo pack if I may say so that I'm a part of. Can't ask for anything more.
02:14I actually felt like we probably had it easier shooting in Kashmir than we would have maybe had
02:20it somewhere in the heartland of India somewhere else because we had a lot of support from the
02:25locals out there and there was I think a lot of excitement for people to see shooting because
02:31I think very best films have been shot there till a couple of years back, in fact when we were there
02:36four films were being shot there so you know films were coming back to Kashmir and people
02:41were coming back to Kashmir and I saw a lot of tourists and I was very happy to see all that
02:45so I wouldn't say I we had anything which was out of the ordinary so to say.
02:50They're also part of our film, they're a part of Bismil if you see them,
02:54our frames are filled with a lovely set of, we have a lovely audience so Vishal sir decided to
02:59keep them in the shot and our song is so much more beautiful because of that because you get a calm
03:05energy just overlooking the song and to top it all at the sun temple where we were shooting
03:12so it's just it's adding so much to every frame just their presence in it.
03:21It's actually everything which you're told not to do when you perform in the film is what Heather
03:26is all about so rest assured nothing in the film is Bollywoodized. The film is based in
03:32Kashmir in the 90s therefore we need to adapt the characters to that culture and to that milieu
03:41and to the Indian context. If you're looking for the Oedipus complex you'll find it,
03:45if you're not looking for it you might not even feel it. So it's treated like that it's very
03:49subliminal and it's it's in the air but you can't really point out and say that's where I felt it
03:56at least that's how I feel. I couldn't help but come up with my own word, you said Bollywoodized.
04:02We've been Baldized. So he has been Baldized. Can I put that? And of course you can and also
04:10very handsomely yeah you have to spell it right and handsomely so. Are you oh my god.
04:18You get to see I mean purely based on this on the poster you get to see him going guns blazing and
04:26of course aside from the conflict conflicts of his character I don't I mean I think he's looking
04:33he looks good in any haircut so he's looking so handsome even being bald. Did you have a
04:38crush on him at some point? It looks like lady with a crush or is it admiration as a colleague?
04:42As a crush she never speaks so. That's true. Cardinal rules of how a girl functions.
04:48She's being so open about it. She's very comfortable if she doesn't have a crush.
04:54Just an admiration revelation but yeah of course but oh nice but that does not take away from the
05:02fact that I do feel that he is extremely handsome and more so with his buzz and his I mean I think
05:08it's suiting him so well right even though he's completely gone bonkers in the film
05:14the visual appeal also adds to it. Hi this is Shraddha Kapoor. Hi this is Shraddha Kapoor and
