00:00Indian expatriates in Dubai gathered early morning on Monday at the Indian consulate

00:16to mark their Independence Day.

00:18Indians from all walks of life joined the celebration and the festivities.

00:21Patriotic chants, speeches and stage performances kicked off the celebration.

00:33The event began with unfurling of the Indian flag by Anurag Bhushan, the Indian consul

00:37general in Dubai.

00:38He addressed the crowd recalling the sacrifices made in the Indian independence struggle and

00:43showered praises on his nation and countrymen.

00:45Children in colorful costumes took to the stage with various performances at the packed

00:50auditorium.

00:51The youths also sang patriotic songs.

00:53We are celebrating along with all Indians and we really feel patriotic and we salute

01:02to all our veery jawan.

01:03Happy Independence Day and today we are celebrating in Dubai Independence Day and I am feeling

01:04very patriotic today.

01:05It's a very good feeling.

01:06All the Indians have gathered from all over India.

01:07Different, different religion people have gathered here and I feel very patriotic.
