00:55Starting from the first quarter of 2017, work permits for domestic workers in the UAE will
01:01be handled by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization. The new procedure is being
01:06rolled out in the Emirate of Dubai first, before expanding across the UAE in the second
01:11quarter of 2017.
01:13Currently, applications for domestic workers have to be processed and approved at the General
01:18Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs offices across the UAE.
01:23Get ready for the largest shopping and entertainment extravaganza in Dubai. The 22nd edition of
01:29the annual Dubai Shopping Festival will start on December 26. The 34-day event, which ends
01:35on January 28, will feature deals, prize draws, and shows across the Emirate.
