00:03laid out their position on several issues of the country.

00:07Here are the details in the center of the news, Daniel Manalastas.

00:12The Senatorial Alliance for a New Philippines is not safe

00:17in the current issues of the country.

00:19The candidates have the courage to face a press conference

00:23before the campaign rally.

00:24Some were asked to talk in the West Philippine Sea.

00:28One of the reasons why I joined this alliance

00:32is that we agree with President and Vice President BBM

00:38that the approach to this problem is multilateral,

00:43not just the Philippines-China.

00:45So, what they are doing is right,

00:47the exercise of the past week,

00:48the U.S., Japan, Australia, and the Philippines together.

00:52We won the tribunal,

00:55and that victory is ours.

00:57It cannot be given to others.

01:00It is ours.

01:02And from there, there is the multilateral approach

01:05that our government should take.

01:07Some were asked to talk,

01:09like the impeachment complaint

01:10against Vice President Sara Duterte.

01:13One hundred percent, somebody will take this to court

01:17because this is a justiciable issue.

01:20Now, being a justiciable issue,

01:22the Supreme Court can really take up that.

01:25Whether they may continue or not.

01:30So, the problem is,

01:31if the court decides that it cannot continue...

01:36It is very, very premature and unfair

01:40to give a position on the impeachment this early.

01:43Some candidates were asked to speak

01:46on the negative campaigning.

01:48They said that they will focus their attention

01:50on helping the development of the Philippines.

01:54The Filipino people are tired.

01:56They are tired of this and that.

02:01It was November last year.

02:03Until now.

02:05The mission of the candidates of the alliance

02:10is to present ourselves

02:12so that people can see the performance of each one.

02:17Many are hungry.

02:19Many don't have a job.

02:20Many don't have a livelihood.

02:21And they can't afford to send their children to school.

02:23That's what we have inside of us.

02:25We don't hide anything.

02:26We don't hide anything from you.

02:29Whatever is inside of us,

02:30we are letting you know

02:33that we want and aspire

02:35for the Philippines to prosper.

02:37Some senatorial candidates

02:40will also be sent to the Hato Lambayan 2025.

02:43The waiver of rights

02:48in the Bank Secrecy Act

02:49of all government officials

02:51from the lowest clerk or janitor

02:54all the way up to the president.

02:55It will help or support industries

02:59that provide a lot of jobs

03:00such as construction or infrastructure

03:03and also the tourism industry.

03:06Whatever sector or industry

03:09that provides a lot of jobs,

03:12that is what we will support.

03:14Senator Bong Revilla was not present

03:16at the press conference.

03:18But he thanked the warm welcome

03:20of the people of Ilocos Norte.

03:22Senator Pia Cayetano,

03:26Senator Lito Lapid,

03:28and Senator Aimee Marcos were not present.

03:30But they were present at the campaign rally.
