00:09The US Supreme Court has cleared the way for President Donald Trump to prohibit the entry
00:14of some people into the United States from countries he deems dangerous.
00:19Justices have imposed strict limits on Trump's travel ban while the court examines the scope
00:24of presidential power over the border.
00:27Trump hailed the court's decision to hear arguments on the travel ban in October, saying
00:31the justices' lifting of the legal roadblocks to his ban was a clear victory for national
00:36security.
00:38President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have called on Pakistan to ensure
00:43that its territory is not used to launch terrorist attacks on other countries, the White House
00:48said in a statement.
00:50The two leaders, who held a meeting at the White House, also called on all nations to
00:55resolve territorial and maritime disputes peacefully and in accordance with international
00:59law, the statement said.
01:02Sharjah has been named with the prestigious World Book Capital title for 2019 by the United
01:07Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
01:11The honour is a recognition of the emirate's pioneering role in supporting and expanding

01:21practice, as well as embracing intercultural knowledge-based dialogue.
