Daniel Wales and Charles Hague-Jones discuss whether Bristol City have what it takes to reach the Championship play-offs.
Transcript
00:00Dan, looking at Bristol City and their hopes for the play-offs this season, obviously,
00:07the gap between anywhere from fifth to twelfth in the league is very, very tight at the moment,
00:13only a couple of games different, a couple of wins, a couple of positive results difference.
00:18I mean, in terms of Bristol City, they've had multiple chances to break in and solidify
00:23themselves in the Championship top six. Those places become so, so, just like gold dust
00:29come the end of the season. But they have failed miserably on a couple of occasions
00:33when the sort of floodgates have opened and sort of said to them, you know, come and get
00:38that win.
00:39Well, clearly, they've not handled them brilliantly, to be honest, because if they had, they would
00:43be in the play-off places by now. And that was just showing exactly what the issues are.
00:48When they faced Swansea at Ashton Gate at the weekend, the ideal chance to break into
00:52the top six, and they've not done for some time. And they lost to a side who have been
00:57pretty poor of late in the Championship.
