00:00As a former Secretary General and as one of the elders, this organization was initiated

00:11by Nelson Mandela with the former world's leaders.

00:18It is absolutely important that this situation should be de-escalated and the country's concern

00:26in conflict should really have political will to resolve this through dialogue.

00:37And I'm also urging the countries in the region, including United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia,

00:45to help de-escalate the situation.

00:50In that regard, I have seen many statements coming from global and regional leaders that

00:59de-escalation is the path to resolve this issue.

01:04And I hope that the United States and Iran try to resolve all the differences of opinions

01:12through dialogue.

01:13Are you confident that the situation is over after what Trump said last night?

01:19I cannot clearly say that it is over, but it seems to me that both countries seem to

01:28understand the serious consequences which might entail if the current situation continues.

01:38So I am a bit relieved that they are showing some sense of de-escalating the situation.

01:48But just a de-escalating situation may be a temporary solution.

01:54There should be some permanent solutions through dialogue.

02:01And it is also important that Iran should be committed to JCPOA, Joint Comprehensive

02:09Plan of Action, and do not go beyond this JCPOA.
