Is Leeds a romantic city? What would you do and where would you go in Leeds for a perfect date?
Transcript
00:00I think Leeds is a nice city to come to for a Valentine, for a date with a new person.
00:06There's lots to offer. My date that I had, we did the museum, we explored some videos and some of the artwork.
00:17Also, the other museum further up the road with the piano and interesting artefacts and things.
00:25So yeah, it gives you a conversation, something to talk about, not sitting and you're actually walking around.
00:30A classic date spot in Leeds that you hear about a lot would be Junkyard Golf.
00:34I'll be honest, been there, it's a decent little place to do a date, but that's just the classic place in Leeds.
00:42They do a fair though, they do a Valentine's Day fair. Yeah, it's there so it's not too bad.
00:49It's a Valentine's Day fair and everything, but it's never going to be completely romantic in Leeds.
00:55It's not going to be Paris or anything, Eiffel Tower, so Paris.
00:59That is my perfect date. Go to Leeds Bradford Airport and then go to Paris, I can't lie.
01:05I think Bundabust is a good place to go for just plugging a local chain I suppose.
01:10They're really nice, they do sharing dishes, that kind of thing.
01:13Always a good way to break the ice, to have an interesting array of stuff.
01:17We both like galleries, bookshops, that's my favourite, I always go to the Leeds Art Gallery and I just wasn't a bookshop.
01:25Mr Sue's Noodles and Dumplings, it's just on where the library is for Uni of Leeds and yeah, it was very nice, very homey food.
01:39So my Valentine's would be to spend time in Leeds with the city, with the culture.
01:45I don't think I'd come to the city centre, I think I'd go off to Harrogate to a nice restaurant with the said potential other half.
01:55Providing the other half, potential other half, has plenty of money.
