00:00Meet Musbah Laheb, a UAE-based Lebanese national who has a passion for finding sources of clean
00:07alternative energy. For over 20 years, Laheb has been working on a generator system
00:12that could use the weight of transportation vehicles to generate clean energy. His invention,
00:17which is now US-patented, could help provide a new form of alternative energy that is clean
00:23and sustainable to countries all over the world. The invention is simple yet effective.
00:28It involves placing a rubber serpentine belt on roads, runways, and railways and using the
00:34weight of vehicles, planes, and trains to rotate the belts and create energy out of the movement.
00:41Picture this. A truck is driving on a highway and the road is sloping downward.
00:45Instead of the truck driving as it normally would, it parks onto a rubber conveyor belt
00:50that is placed on a segment of the road and connected by two axes. The weight of the truck
00:56propels the belt forward down the hill. There are multiple generators connected to this belt,
01:01and the rotation of it acts like a dynamo to create alternative energy that can be used
01:06to power up cities. Not only would this project create an output of clean energy,
01:10it would also go a long way in preserving roads as well as reducing vehicle pollution.
