00:00Hi, I'm Claire Chandler, Headteacher at Beacon Primary School and I'm so proud of this school
00:06and I just absolutely love working here. The children here are amazing along with all of
00:11the staff. We really are one big family who genuinely care about each other. Every day
00:18we aim to make a difference in the lives of all of the children here at Beacon. We have
00:23many, many amazing features all over the school. We have a working bank that is run by our
00:30children. They are the cashiers. They take on the children's beacons, they pay them in
00:38every single week and then every term the children get to go to the shop and they choose
00:43to either save their beacons or to spend them in our shop. We also have an amazing library
00:51that has just been restocked with lots of beautiful brand new books that the children
00:56love coming to. They take the books into their classroom, they also can take them home and
01:03they just have a lovely time. We also have the school dogs that are loved by everybody
01:07in the school. They're there if anybody needs to read to someone but doesn't want the pressures
01:13of being heard by an adult. They're just that loving, friendly, fluffy little friend for
01:18anybody that needs it for any day of the week, including the staff. Beacon truly is an amazing
01:24school. We are outstanding in every single possible way and all we want is the best for
01:30all of our children that come through our doors. We want a bright and fantastic future.
