00:00Due to the ongoing rise of cool events in the country, Rubelin Amit plans to build a billiard tournament that has an international standard.

00:09Let's find out the details of this news in the words of Bernadette Pinoy.

00:15The Philippine Billiard Artist and Amit Cup Co-Founder Rubelin Amit announced that due to the rise of female billiard players in the country,

00:23they plan to build an international-type tournament called Amit Open.

00:28There is no chance for potential players to play the national pool athlete like Cheska Centeno.

00:34According to Rubelin, she herself is also interested in joining the tournament

00:38to give the opportunity to amateur players to experience the international standard in playing billiards.

00:44We will bring here the international standards of play.

00:48So Cheska and I, including Denise Santos, which is our first graduate, she's a pro.

00:54She already won in Singapore.

00:56So we're hoping to have a tournament wherein the three of us will play against some of the advanced players

01:03so they can experience how to play internationally.

01:08So somehow, if the time comes and they have the opportunity, they will have the experience.

01:13They don't need to go to other countries for one to two years because it's not immediate.

01:19Despite this, the WPA Women's 9-Ball Champion also admitted that they will solidify the fund

01:27so that the so-called tournament can continue.

01:29So for now, they don't have any details on when the Amit Open will be held.

01:34Hopefully, if we get more support, we would be able to start the Amit Open.

01:40So that's our target.

01:42But then again, slowly, slowly because we don't want to promise

01:47and then it won't happen or to hurry.

01:50And then when we do it, it's not the best that we can do for the ladies.

01:56Meanwhile, after the success of Amit Cup Season 3, Leg 3 in January,

02:01the opening of Leg 4, the third edition is expected to arrive in March.
