00:00One of my videos went viral in Pakistan and Bangladesh and my comment section was just
00:07filled with people from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi.
00:13So sense of humour comes naturally to me because my father used to host events in his office.
00:19He used to work in Indian Airlines, which is Air India now.
00:21He used to change the tyres of the plane.
00:25So I'm close to aviation in that way.
00:27My brother also has a street smart humour, typical Delhi humour.
00:32And I created a Facebook page and I named it BB Ki Vines because I had no clue what
00:37to name it because I wasn't serious.
00:40I never knew that this could be something.
00:43But eventually I made it and one of my videos went viral in Pakistan and Bangladesh and
00:51my comment section was just filled with people from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi.
00:57And I'm a new Delhi boy and I thought it's a spam, it's a scam at first because I can't
01:02see Sharma's and I couldn't see Verma's and all those Indian surnames.
01:07And I was like, dude, is it really happening or because in one day I used to get 10,000
01:13followers on the page and I didn't know what to do with it.
01:16Then someone gave me a reality check that your video has apparently went viral in a
01:21university in Karachi.
01:23It was Ikra University, I guess.
01:26So it went viral in Ikra University and I was like, dude, how the hell can it happen?
01:31And till date, I haven't put a single penny on any video promotion.
01:37It's all organic.
01:38And it started from then, 2015.
01:40And so people started joining in and the folks who used to stay right next to my house,
01:47they thought that I am from Karachi because naturally when you went to my page, it was
01:51all Pakistani names.
01:53And they used to talk like Janab, Huzoor and I'm like, bro, I live here.
01:58And then naturally when I started giving interviews, then people got to know that I'm a new Delhi
02:02boy.
02:03Then eventually I started giving interviews in Pakistan.
02:07I used to, I started headlining their shows.
02:10Like I used to be a final act in some event, in college event in Islamabad through Skype.
02:17And I was like, what do I do with this?
02:19I have to earn here in Delhi.
02:22How do I turn this around?
02:24And then the Valentine video came handy.
02:25And I remember Raghu Dixit, if you know, he's a musician.
02:29And he was the first guy who shared, and I was like, dude, Raghu Dixit shared my video.
02:33I really want, in a generation of keyboard warriors, there has to be some emotion, be
02:40it comedy, be it sadness, be it humor, music, anything.
02:44I frankly never survived on clickbait, which everyone is trying to do.
02:49That's why the news is kind of losing its authenticity.
02:53That's how, that's what I feel.
02:55I never, I never sensationalized everything, anything.
02:59I talk, I talk about a middle class problem.
03:03I talk about a family who's going through that problem.
03:05I put in some humor.
03:07I put in some emotional drama, like Indian drama, and it works for me.
03:12Because the audience, the viewers are young.
03:15And like I said, they're vulnerable.
03:17If I tell them that, okay, your parents might nag you all the time, but they want the best
03:24for you.
03:25And that's how they think.
03:27They keep DMing me, today my mom said this to me, said this to me, because I've been
03:32very vocal.
03:33I go on Instagram live.
03:34I talk to them.
03:35I play music for them.
03:36Yeah.
03:38It's a very organic connection.
03:39Yeah.
03:40It's not like orchestrated.
03:41I never, I never made it like, I wish, I wish we could talk to him.
03:45I wish we could touch him.
03:46So I'm here through DTC and they want me to tell people back in the country that if you
03:54have three, four days to spend in Dubai, this is how you should do it.
03:58And probably these are the four days that I'll cherish for the next one or two years
04:04because this is the only holiday I have.
