00:00My name is Magali Latt and I am from the lovely country of Portugal.

00:10I used to be an ex-professional tennis player.

00:13I reached 334 in the world and I was number one Portuguese for many, many years.

00:20Throughout my career, I have won several tournaments, especially international,

00:25and was around nine tournaments international.

00:29Since 2011, unfortunately due to a lack of sponsorship,

00:33I had to quit and go throughout my career of coaching

00:38and pass all my passion that I learned throughout all those years of my career of professional

00:43to give it to the children here in Dubai and I'm very pleased with that.

00:51Dubai is a hot country and what Dubai needed,

00:55it was a place where you can still meet friends and still in a good environment

01:01and also with the air conditioning because we suffer a lot with the heat in Dubai.

01:08And you want to enjoy also the sports that you like it.

01:13And this is the idea came behind on building ARIA.

01:19My role now here is I am the head coach,

01:22so I coach myself as well and I manage my team.

01:29Currently we have two tennis courts and one puddle and we are fully air conditioning.

01:35Soon also we'll have some cafeteria as well, very soon.

01:38We want the people to be here for all the time and spend time in here with their family.

01:44So that's the goal and we have a small playground with the table tennis as well,

01:48so the kids can stay, the parents can stay and enjoy with the family.

01:54I think it's really cool especially that it's indoors and we have two courts

01:58and there's like other things to do if you come early.

02:03I've been playing tennis with you for like since I was four and now I'm 13, so a long time.

02:12I really just enjoy, you know, having fun and like running and hitting the ball.

02:17I really like it.

02:20It's very big in my opinion. It has a paddle court and two tennis courts, which is absolutely amazing.

02:27Playing with my friends, honestly, it's really something I enjoy and you guys definitely allow that, which is great.

02:38We have our program where we have private lessons where you enjoy one-on-one with the tennis coach

02:44and also to improve your abilities, your skills a little bit more personally with the coach.

02:51Then we have semi-privates where you can share with a friend or with the family

02:56or even we can also try to offer you, you can enjoy some play, not just with the coach but with your friends.

03:06Also with the group lessons, you can bring more friends, you can also meet new friends.

03:11That is also very important, especially for the children.

03:16You can bring your family, can be a full group of the whole family, everybody can enjoy it.

03:22And also to meet new people.

03:26We have children making their own friends and coming in here and staying to play with their own friends.

03:32So it's an enjoyable and social place that we are creating.

03:36I think it is important not just to focus on one area in Dubai, but expanding and giving other choices to the people around.

03:46I have my base already in D.I.P. for many years and that's where I built from.

03:52Yes, we are a little bit outside of Dubai, but if you enjoy really our facility and stay here for longer,

03:58I think it is the worth of the drive.
