00:00Hernani Eastern Samar was hit by an earthquake last night in other parts of Samar and Leyte Provinces.

00:07In just over 12 hours, some aftershocks were felt.

00:18Some houses in Hernani Eastern Samar were hit by an earthquake.

00:22The magnitude 5.3 earthquake followed at around 9 p.m.

00:27The epicenter of the earthquake was in the sea, which was also felt in other parts of Samar and Leyte Provinces.

00:34According to the Hernani Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office,

00:37based on their initial assessment together with the Municipal Engineer's Office,

00:41even if the earthquake came from the sea, the water did not rise or rise.

00:47There was no sign of damage to their seawalls or any medical emergencies.

00:52Their roads and roads were still passable.

00:55Based on what our LGUs reported, there were no significant effects or damages.

01:03Some aftershocks were also felt after the earthquake.

01:07The magnitude 5.2 that was felt at around 9 a.m. was the strongest.
