00:00In the PBL, Creamline Cool Smashers won their first match against PLDT High Speed Hitters in the 2024-2025 PBL All-Filipino Conference.

00:10Let's find out the details in the report of my teammate, Bernadette Tinoy.

00:16PLDT High Speed Hitters completely finished the 19-win streak of Creamline Cool Smashers

00:22and I was able to watch their first loss in the 2024-2025 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.

00:30In front of the volleyball fence that was held at the Inari Center in Tepolo, the PBL defending champions were knocked down by the hitters.

00:37In the first two sets, the hitters immediately took the lead in the game 30-28 and 25-21.

00:44The smashers also did not give up in the lead of the Tots, Carlos, Jem Magalanza, and Bernadette Pons to win the 3rd and 4th sets 23-25 and 18-25.

00:54The two teams continued to fight and beat each other in the 5th set, where the hitters won 16-14.

01:02Because of this, the smashers lost again for the second time since the 2023-2024 All-Filipino Conference and Reinforced Conference Sets.

01:12The game ended with a final score of 3-2, where Xavi Davison was able to get to know the player of the game

01:19after losing 34 points from 29 attacks, 5 blocks, and 17 excellent reception.

01:26I'm very happy that everyone contributed, from the bench to the starters. It was a good balance.

01:36We worked hard in practice, by ourselves on our own. Nobody really knows, so I'm glad that it was represented through this game today.

01:46Because of the victory of the KLDT High Speed Hitters, the team rose to the 4th spot of the PBL standings,

01:52with 7 wins and 3 losses, while the smashers still retained the top spot with 9-1 in Kartada.

01:58Meanwhile, the hitters had another game against the Thunderbells, which was held on February 22 at the City of Pase Arena in Iloilo.
