00:00The
00:26project started around 2015, and we've been able to hand over four phases, which is Afnan,
00:32Danny, and Miss Kenworth, and we've recently launched a new phase, which is the last residential
00:37phase out of the project, which is called Jannat.
00:41The community that we manage is a very vibrant community.
00:44What it has is several amenities across from pools, tennis, basketball courts, even paddle
00:50courts.
00:51The idea is we're trying to create a lot of value to our residents to make sure that they're
00:56getting the best out of what the community can provide.
00:59What we like about Midtown is the safety, and also the amateurs and the facility that
01:05they have provided, especially for the kids.
01:08So we've been in three communities before during the past, but we have not enjoyed such
01:16a comfort and secure environment before within those communities like we enjoyed in Midtown.
01:24And the rent also, we are paying now 71,000, we renewed for the next 12 months, it was
01:31like 59,000.
01:32Though it's a height, we agreed to stay, comparing the other options what we had within this
01:40area.
01:41So we felt like this is the better option for us.
01:45And also it's closer to my office, I'm working in the free zone, and my wife came in a school
01:50close by and my son's going to global village, school in global village.
01:56So they also collected many strife from here.
01:59So accessibility and also the comfort and all, they are enjoying this community than
02:07the other communities where we've worked before.
02:09So my name is Clotilde, and I live here in Midtown by Bihar with my husband Hussain and
02:16our two daughters, Simone and Josephine.
02:20We have been living here now for nearly two years, it will be two years in February.
02:25And the apartment consists in a big living and dining room with two bedrooms, and one
02:33main room that we actually transformed into her daughter's bedroom.
02:37So it's like a fake three bedroom apartment.
02:40When we arrived, it was 62,000 and now it has slowly increased to 66,000, which makes
02:47it honestly really affordable for the area and for what we are getting for this price.
02:53When I moved to Dubai, which was about three years from now, we were living in Ajman first
03:00with my husband and then Hussain's working in JBR, we decided to move closer because
03:05it was really far.
03:07And we're looking for a long time for an apartment which fits her budget.
03:10And when we finally visited this place, it was like love at first sight because the podium
03:16area, the outside area is just amazing.
03:18And the apartment itself was like brand new and well designed.
03:22So yeah, we loved it very much.
03:24As the real estate sector evolves, and it's becoming more dynamic.
03:30So what we're trying to do either as a developer or a community manager is provide value to
03:35our customers.
03:36They are no longer looking to have high end amenities only, they are only looking to have
03:42facilities and retail strips that would accommodate the day to day of their needs.
03:48What we're trying to create is a sense of belonging.
03:50People are looking to have a place where they can feel like it's really home, rather than
03:56just a place to go every day.
03:59Creating that sense of belonging is I think what is striving and what differentiates Midtown
04:04out of all of the other communities that we have.
04:06I've been in Dubai since 1998.
04:09I chose to live in Midtown precisely for the fact that there's a lot of clean air,
04:15the society is amazing, I see a mixed bag of nationality, I love the pools, I love the
04:22kind of landscape that they've done in this place, a lot of greenery, a lot of attention
04:27to detail, to animals, pets, you also see this is a pet friendly society, and it takes
04:35about 20 minutes for me to get to the free zone where I work.
04:38I got this for a song that I bought because I bought this during the COVID time, of course
04:43now it's plus 100 and 150,000 for one bet.
04:46I'm in the planning stage of picking up another place in Noor, but that negotiation is still
04:50on.
04:51A very good friend of mine and we are fit, so that's why the bottle is not rolling.
04:56So when I first moved in August 2020, I was staying at Afnan 3 as a tenant, and because
05:05of the COVID time, I felt I was not like everybody else, just stuck in a flat.
05:11So we could move out, we had our walks, the community was very clear about the do's and
05:15the don'ts.
05:17So staying in this community during that time, really gave me those intentions.
05:22We need to do something, pick it up, because the kids were born here, I don't think they
05:27want to live, you know, from wherever we came from.
05:31So this probably in the future will be their house if they want to study in Dubai, or if
05:36they go anywhere else, this will be their home, to back home, because it's only two,
05:41three hours from where we come from, right, it's a native place.
05:56With the launches of the other phases and the mosque that is going to come up by the
06:00end of next year, hopefully, we think that it's going to cultivate all of the missing
06:06aspects that we have within that community.
06:09Okay, yeah, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank the DRSO team for everything they
06:13are doing for this community, which makes it like really feel home and all the celebrations
06:18they're organising for the year from Christmas to Diwali to Eid to Flag Day, everything
06:24like, yeah, it feels like home here.
06:26And that's also thanks to the work of the DRSO.
