(Adnkronos) - L’università degli Studi di Brescia ha tenuto la cerimonia di nomina alla presidenza della Rete delle Università per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile - Rus. Per il triennio 2025-2027, infatti, è stato designato dal Comitato di coordinamento della Rete il prof. Carmine Trecroci, professore di Economia del Dipartimento di Economia e Management, coordinatore della Commissione d’Ateneo per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile e responsabile dell’organizzazione di numerose attività strategiche sul tema. Il prof. Trecroci succede alla prof.ssa Patrizia Lombardi del Politecnico di Torino, che ha ricoperto il ruolo di Presidente nel sessennio 2019-2024.

00:58in the challenge for sustainable development. In collaboration with many Italian Athens, the University of Brescia
01:07sees to carry out a decade-long commitment and for the next triennium will be committed to give a concrete follow-up,
01:19especially an attention to the developments, to the concrete transformations of Italian society.
01:26According to the rector Francesco Castelli, the synergy between the University of Brescia and RUS is essential to increase the sensitivity
01:33in the academic community of teachers, but also and above all of students.
01:38Sustainability must somehow become a way of living within the life of each of us and must in a transversal way
01:46go through all our degree courses as much as possible because this is the future.
01:53So we have degree courses that deal with sustainability, we also have an excellent assessment at the level of international rankings
02:02as a university that deals with sustainability. These are messages that we send to our academic community,
02:10but also to our community of reference, to the city, to the province, to our territory of reference,
02:16to make it clear and to be more and more aware that each of us, in our own particular and as institutions,
02:25we in our general, can do to make the lives of our families and our community always better.
