00:00What we're getting at, folks, is the NBA is different than when I, than when we were kids.
00:06You know, like I look now, I'm in my office, I'm over here, I have a picture of Magic Johnson
00:12with the Lakers and Jordan with the Bulls in a 91-5 on the other side, you know, I got
00:19Iceman, George Gerber, I got a poster of him right over here, over my shoulder.
00:24When you put on the NBA, you knew Iceman was in San Antonio.
00:28You knew Magic was in L.A. You knew Ewing was in New York.
00:32You knew Olajuwon was in Houston.
00:33Robinson was in, obviously, in San Antonio.
00:38You know, so I got to see guys through the totality of their career.
00:43Guys are switching teams like people switch underwear.
00:47And the problem is, is when guys aren't happy with what's going on, they get up and they
00:52leave.
00:53I don't want to be here.
00:54I want to go here.
00:55Liners!
00:56Liners!
00:57Hey, can you imagine back in the day, in the 80s, when Jordan was getting these, you
01:02know what, kicked by the bad boys?
01:05You imagine Jordan saying, yeah, you know what, I'm going to go play for Detroit.
01:09I can't beat them like what Kevin Durant did.
01:11Can you imagine that?
01:12Back then?
01:13That's why we loved it back then, and maybe this is me being an old man of 48, sitting
01:19on my soapbox, but folks, guess what, I'm on air, you're not, I don't care.
01:25This is the way we love basketball, and we need to get back to that some way.
01:29And it starts with the players and Adam Silver holding these guys accountable.
