00:39What we are saying is 2 pesos, but in my opinion, the board will still approve it.
00:46Whatever the board wants to give, that's what we will accept.
00:50The written petition was also approved by the group in charge of the fare increase.
00:55The LTFRB agreed to study the petition for the fare increase.
00:59We need the opinion of NEDA.
01:02Because all of this increase in fees is related to inflation.
01:09Increase in purchases.
01:12FEDUDAP rejected their petition for a 2-peso additional fee.
01:17That's why we need to find out what help we can provide to the government.
01:26This is what we are thinking of doing. We want to reduce the additional fee.
01:31In October 2023, the LTFRB approved the 1-peso provisional increase in the minimum fare of jeepneys from 12 pesos to 13 pesos for the traditional jeepney.

02:04According to the DOT or Rail Regulatory Unit,
02:07the LRT-1 boarding fare will increase from 16 pesos and 25 centavos to 1 peso and 47 centavos per kilometer.
02:16The minimum fare for a single journey ticket will be 20 pesos from 15 pesos.
