00:00The Philippine Embassy in Port Moresby is warning the Filipinos living in Papua New Guinea
00:06because of the increasing incident of violence in the so-called country.
00:10Under the threat of the embassy, the Filipinos are reminded not to go to dangerous places
00:16and to go out of their homes early in the morning.
00:20The Embassy is also encouraging our fellow Filipinos to immediately contact them
00:25when they need urgent help.
00:27Last week, a series of national riots took place here
00:32after two women were killed in a separate incident.
00:37One of the women was raped and killed by more than 20 adults in Port Moresby.
00:44Because of the incident, the authorities began to evacuate the houses
00:48that were near the scene of the incident while the police were already looking for the victims.
00:54Meanwhile, the United Nations condemned the violence
00:57and urged the authorities to give justice to the victims.
