00:00The off-hazard that was carried out across the country
00:03involves a total of 47 premises
00:07and has managed to collect 15,764.9 metric tonne e-waste
00:17estimated by the police to be worth Rp 55 million.
00:24All the premises that are involved have been investigated
00:26under Article Quality of the Surrounding Area Act 1974
00:30failed to comply with the regulations
00:32to make it easier for out-of-station transportation
00:35to be scheduled without license.
00:37The third, Section 19,
00:40failed to reveal the written statement
00:43from the Director-General of the Surrounding Area.
00:46The fourth, Section 34E,
00:48failed to reveal the report of the EIA investigation.
00:52And the fifth, Section 34B,
00:55failed to place the scheduled waste
00:58without the approval of the Director-General of the Surrounding Area.
01:02In connection with that,
01:0337 premises have been subjected to
01:07a complete operation
01:10under Section 38.1A
01:13against the exhaust gases
01:15used in the premises
01:18without any control equipment.
01:21In addition to that, a total of 59 instructions
01:25and 27 compounds have been issued
01:29on various violations
01:31under the regulations of the Surrounding Area Quality Regulations
01:34for the scheduled waste in 2015.
01:37And a total of 52 investigative papers
01:42have been opened
01:43for the purpose of a lawsuit in court.
01:52If we look at the condition of the premises,
01:55there is a lot of dust,
01:57there is a lot of heat,
01:58there are a lot of places to go in.
02:00Is that a reason for a lawsuit?
02:05Or what is it?
02:08Yes, actually, our case is not in the court.
02:12Indeed, we depend on the Customs.
02:16And the Customs has already known
02:20and has already cooperated with us.
02:24And usually, when the Customs
02:27checks the container,
02:30there is e-waste,
02:31they will call us for an investigation.
02:34So, in that regard, we will verify
02:37if it is indeed e-waste,
02:39we will issue an instruction notice
02:42for the e-waste to be sent to the original country.
02:47That is the modus operandi that has been done so far.
02:51But what I want to say is that
02:53we do not sit 24 hours in the court.
02:57So, it is our responsibility
02:59to cooperate with the Customs.
03:01And for your information,
03:03in 2024,
03:05there were at least 462 containers
03:10that were detained by the Customs
03:13together with JAS.
03:15Before that, in 2023, there were 47.
03:19So, there seems to be an increase
03:21between 2023 and 2024.
03:25So, in this regard,
03:27out of the total,
03:29140 containers have been sent back
03:33to the original country.
03:35And the rest are in the process of recycling.
03:40So, I want to say that
03:42we cooperate with the Customs
03:44to ensure that the doors are locked
03:47and controlled properly.
03:50But I want to say that
03:52we do not sit there 24 hours.
03:54When there is a case,
03:55we are called by the Customs to investigate.
