00:00The Health Department has announced that Dengue cases in the country are going down.

00:04But in order to increase the number of cases, the agency has started the 4 o'clock campaign against mosquitoes.

00:20The Department of Health has officially launched the 4 o'clock campaign against mosquitoes.

00:31The 4 o'clock campaign against mosquitoes here in Quezon City was officially launched yesterday afternoon.

00:38Next, Health Secretary Ted Erbosa and Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte visited Barangay Batasan Hills.

00:46They prioritized cleaning the areas that may be affected by mosquitoes,

00:52such as gutters, dams, and water containers.

00:57Secretary Erbosa also visited their homes.

01:00Residents were personally encouraged to join the fight against Dengue.

01:05According to the DOH, more than 43,000 cases of Dengue have been reported in the country this year.

01:12The highest cases are in the Metro Manila, Calabar Zone, and Central Zone.

01:18In Quezon City, where the Dengue outbreak has already been declared,

01:2211 cases have been reported due to Dengue this year.

01:26The DOH is doubly confident that the spread of Dengue is still early,

01:30especially since the rainy season has not yet begun.

01:36We want zero Dengue.

01:39But according to the latest statistics, the number of cases has plateaued.

01:44January was high, and then it plateaued.

01:48If the surroundings are clean,

01:50first remove the things that may be affected by mosquitoes.

01:53We will always check the family,

01:57members of the family,

01:58if they have a bad feeling,

02:01if they have a fever,

02:02or whatever,

02:03if it's been two days,

02:06In our city alone,

02:082,383 cases of Dengue have been reported this year.

02:16That's more than 251% of the total number of cases in the past year.

02:27Meanwhile, aside from Quezon City,

02:304 mosquitos have been reported in other parts of the country.
