00:00The Department of Health recorded a decrease in the number of dengue cases across the country.
00:05This is what Bernard Ferrer reported.
00:10The number of dengue cases in the country decreased by 5% in the last 4 weeks.
00:15According to the Department of Health, from 15,904 dengue cases,
00:20it decreased to 15,134 dengue cases from January 19 to February 15.
00:26According to the DOH, the decrease in the number of possible cases
00:30is due to the increased campaign against dengue.
00:32According to the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,
00:35to strictly monitor and guarantee the spread of the disease.
00:39Clean-up drives were launched to destroy the affected areas of the country,
00:43along with misting and fogging in areas with high dengue cases.
00:48To speed up the treatment and treatment of those with symptoms,
00:51thousands of Dengue IgG, IgM, and Dengue RdT testing kits were delivered to the hospitals and health centers.
00:59All public health facilities were allowed to reopen their Dengue Fast Lanes
01:04so that patients will be able to take action.
01:07Children aged 5 to 14 years old are the most affected by dengue.
01:12Meanwhile, a program was launched by the DOH
