00:00The Department of Energy formed a task force to ensure that there will be no interruption in the supply of electricity in the 2025 National and Local Elections.
00:11This is in line with the continued coordination of the Energy Task Force Election in the COMLEC and the Department of Defense.
00:19The Director of the Energy Task Force, Undersecretary Felix William Fentibella, gave a directive to the task force to ensure that there will be enough electricity and sufficient supply of oil on the day of the election.
00:33He also emphasized the importance of having contingency measures in any possible event such as a calamity.
00:41This is to maintain the integrity of the election and to be the public's confidence that the task force with a centralized energy command hub is already on standby to monitor and respond quickly to a possible issue related to power supply.
