00:07let alone leveled false claims against Aquinas or even against 2022 presidential rival Lenin Robredo?

00:13More than enough proof that validates the president's character, diplomacy, and respect for those even on the other side of the political aisle.

00:35Several House leaders dismissed former President Rodrigo Duterte's claim that President Ferdinand R. Marx Jr. is turning into a dictator,

00:43calling Duterte and his allies a factory of fake news.

00:46According to House Deputy Majority Leader Paulo Ortega, instead of spreading false information and attacking others,

00:53the Duterte camp should just explain the issues they are involved in.

01:16For their part, House Assistant Majority Leader Zia Alonzo Adjong and Ernest Dionisio also asserted that if anything, the president's traits are the complete opposite of a dictator.

01:36From his leadership to how he addresses issues, they emphasized that the chief executive remains kind and diplomatic.

01:46He said that if anything is to be removed, exhumed, and thrown into the West Philippine Sea,

01:52your life will be threatened, your wife will be threatened, the Speaker of the House will be threatened, your cousins.

01:59Every time they have a rally, their main goal is to destroy a person, not just the police, but the personality of an individual like President Bongbong Marcos.

02:10He has all the power at his disposal and yet he is doing nothing.

02:18In fact, his responses are so diplomatic. Is that a characteristic of a dictator? I don't think so.

02:23To the recent presidents of our country, I could easily say that President Bongbong Marcos is one of the kindest.

02:32It's very far from being a dictator.

02:35At the same time, lawmakers praised the administration's initiatives to further improve the state of the Philippines.

02:41They cited the country's removal from the Financial Action Task Force or FATF's gray list as proof of the government's effective measures.

02:50Meanwhile, in a statement, House Speaker Martin Umwaltas also welcomed the expansion of benefits provided by PhilHealth,

02:56particularly the inclusion of outpatient emergency care in their benefit packages and the increase in case rate packages for critical illnesses.
