00:00Philippine Coast Guard ordered voters to choose candidates who have a right to vote for the Philippines in the West Philippine Sea.

00:14Philippine Coast Guard Spokesperson Commodore J. Tariella reminded Philippine voters to be careful when choosing to vote for the upcoming election.

00:25Philippine Coast Guard Spokesperson Commodore J. Tariella reminded Philippine voters to choose candidates who have a right to vote for the Philippines in the West Philippine Sea and not pro-China.

00:35Let's make sure that none of these will sit because they are pro-China, because they are not pro-Philippines, and they are not disrespecting our Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine Coast Guard, and ordinary fishermen.

00:51Tariella said that if the candidates in favor of China will be elected, the Armed Forces of the Philippines will have a hard time in modernization because of some regulations that may stop the approval of the agency's budget.

01:07Following the correctness of J. Zonza's broadcaster, Tariella clarified that he is not endorsing any candidate for the election of 2025.

01:16But he called for the election of candidates who will protect our sovereignty.

01:22I'm not supporting any candidates, whether you are supporting the senatorial slate of the administration, the senatorial slate of the former president, or anybody who are running for independent party.

01:36Tariella also insisted that the West Philippine Sea is not a political issue, but an issue of the entire Philippines.

01:42The PCG also assured that the agency will continue to assist the government while continuing its patrols in the West Philippine Sea.

01:57Malacanang is pleased with the exemption of the US from the Philippines for their implementation of the foreign assistance freeze, particularly in terms of security.
