00:00More than 400,000 residents are expected to benefit from the construction of a state-of-the-art desalination plant in Iloilo City.

00:19With the construction of this desalination plant in Iloilo City, the problem of water supply in the city will be solved.
00:29And because the Metro Iloilo Desalination Facility is the largest desalination plant in the Philippines,
00:36it can supply 66.5 million liters per day of clean and drinking water.
00:43More than 400,000 residents in the city will benefit from the construction of the plant.
00:49The facility will use advanced reverse osmosis technology, where the water in the sea can be drunk.
00:58In addition, water interruption will also be reduced, especially during dry season.
01:03The desalination plant was funded by 5.5 billion pesos with the help of Iloilo City LGU and private sectors.
