00:00The Commission on Elections admitted that the number of election-related violence has increased since the beginning of the campaign.

00:19On Monday, Vice Mayor Omar Samama was shot in Datupiang, Maguindanao del Sur in front of the public.

00:25While he was giving his speech in the evacuation center, he was hit by a bullet in his spine.

00:32He was not even injured, he was immediately rushed to the hospital.

00:35The Commission on Elections said that even though the campaign has not yet started in the local positions for the midterm elections,

00:42it is clear that the incident is considered an election-related incident.

00:46That is why they are investigating the incident in the PNP.

01:16PNP-PIO Chief Police Colonel Randolph Tuanyo said that the PNP has already made a security adjustment in two places
