Dire need for more First Nations psychologists, sector says

There are calls for more to be done to attract psychologists with lived experiences of the issues faced by Aboriginal communities, with the industry suffering from a serious lack of Indigenous workers across the country. Experts say more support to ensure First Nation peoples overcome access barriers to become mental health practitioners will help address poverty and crime in places like Alice Springs.
