00:00Previously on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
00:06It's time to let go of the past.
00:09Redoing the living room is a real step in the right direction.
00:12Oh, I love it.
00:14You feel like there's any pressure because you're like,
00:16okay, Keely really wants a kid.
00:18If I want to carry a baby myself,
00:20I don't have a lot of time to do that.
00:22I didn't think he'd be doing what he's doing now.
00:24Well, what is he doing?
00:25Just, I'm going to stop paying this
00:27and you're going to be liable for this.
00:29You have to protect yourself. You have to go.
00:31This is not my partner.
00:32This is my adversary now.
00:35I am going to Augusta to see my mother.
00:39I thought, baby, you might want to join us.
00:42This is gorgeous.
00:44I love to see you.
00:46I really want to fix my relationship with my mother now.
00:49I feel like it's a bit strained.
00:51You just want her to acknowledge,
00:53like, I'm proud of you.
00:55I want her to respect me.
00:56Maybe that's what I'm actually looking for, respect.
01:06These hills have eyes and they're all staring at me.
01:10I honor my fine Southern manners by putting you in your place.
01:16I've been in the game too long to play by someone else's rules.
01:23In Beverly Hills, money buys a lot,
01:26but my independence? Priceless.
01:29Introducing the greatest product I've ever marketed, Myself.
01:35I might look like a doll, but don't wind me up.
01:52Got to put some makeup on.
01:54Where would I have taken off my diamonds?
01:58Hmm. I'll meet you in the bathroom.
02:03We're at Augusta. Here we go.
02:09Hey, you've been running?
02:11I've been running. Oh.
02:12I have a bone to pick with your daughter.
02:14She told me to go around the house and make a left,
02:19and then to go left on Henry. There was no Henry.
02:22Well, Henry's back there.
02:25In fact, you go to the cemetery the way you were going,
02:28you would have run to China and back without seeing.
02:31But don't go ever again this late.
02:33When I used to run, I used to run at 536.
02:36You're very strong mentally.
02:38I am very strong mentally. I blame that on my father.
02:41I was his favourite child,
02:44so he taught me how to be very strong and independent.
02:47What sign are you? Cancer.
02:48But I'm not a typical cancer.
02:50I told this to my friend last week.
02:52I said, I'm not a nurturer. She said, she laughed.
02:55You're not a nurturer? No.
02:57Hi, Miss Reba. Hello.
02:59You will be joining us for brunch.
03:01Brunch? Yes. I thought we were having breakfast.
03:03Well, it's turned into brunch.
03:06Yes, I see that. Well, I don't have my watch.
03:07I'm going to go take a shower. Yes, you go.
03:08Yes, you go take a shower. It's so nice talking with you.
03:10I'll talk to you. You would want to go get dressed
03:12and come back for a brunch.
03:14Dressed? Yeah.
03:15Why am I getting dressed?
03:17We're having a proper brunch.
03:18I'm fully dressed right now.
03:20Oh, OK. I just thought if you want to go fluff up a little bit.
03:24No, I don't. Oh, OK. All right.
03:27But I'll see you in a few minutes.
03:29OK. Sutton, I'm going down.
03:31I'm here. Oh, what are you doing?
03:33Checking up on this grit. We don't want to get burnt.
03:36Where are we eating, outside?
03:38No, right over here.
03:40Oh, nice. Yeah.
03:41So then let's set up.
03:43I was just going to wait for Sutton's direction,
03:45set the table, because, you know.
03:49I got it. Yeah. We love her.
03:51And we don't want to mess the chakras today.
03:53No. No. Not today.
03:55I was talking to your mom. Uh-huh.
03:58She's so great. She's very interesting.
04:02And I understand more about her
04:03just in the little conversation that I had.
04:06What did you learn? She had a very tough dad.
04:08He taught her to be strong.
04:09She told me she was not a nurturer.
04:11She said that? Yeah.
04:14You got that out of her? Yeah.
04:16Hmm. She's aware of that.
04:19Yeah.
04:21How long was your dad not well for?
04:23I noticed it when I was, like, 25, 26.
04:28I was in my 20s when I got the call,
04:32you need to come home, and it was very surprising for me.
04:35Like, I didn't understand my father,
04:37who was our rock, could be starting to break.
04:42We put him in the hospital twice.
04:44Really? I didn't know that.
04:45Oh, yeah. And I'm talking, put him in the car,
04:48like, shoved him in the car.
04:50And what was going on with him?
04:52Just depressive state. He was on those drugs.
04:55And for depression. Did he drink at any time?
04:58Sleeping pills.
04:59He was suffering from chronic depression.
05:03They had him on all these pills just to try to regulate stuff
05:05that wasn't working.
05:07He would go on and off of them for years.
05:10And then he would self-medicate with alcohol.
05:13He was very confused,
05:15talking a lot about how he wanted to kill himself,
05:20didn't know what day it was, but he never went to therapy.
05:26It was just so disjointed, his treatment, his non-treatment.
05:32You passed when you were 31?
05:3432.
05:35So six years. Yeah.
05:37My father shot himself in December of 22, so 2002.
05:47December 2002 is when he killed himself.
05:52You're lucky to have your mom.
05:55How many minutes has that been in there, an hour?
05:58Well, could you tell me if this is, can I take it out?
06:01Does that look good to you?
06:02Or should I put it on?
06:03The only thing you're doing is heating it up.
06:04Do you realize that?
06:05I don't want to overcook them.
06:06You don't want dry grits. Turn it off.
06:09That's what I asked, but okay.
06:13What are these forks for?
06:15If someone wanted to cut a slice of cake.
06:18Oh.
06:22Didn't you want a drink? What am I making you?
06:24What do you have?
06:25Okay. Would you like a ...
06:27How are you? You look good.
06:28Oh, thank you. You look wonderful.
06:30Thank you. Would you like a vodka lemonade?
06:32No. What else do you got?
06:35I could do a Bloody Mary.
06:37I can definitely do that. Yes.
06:38How'd you sleep?
06:41I think I slept pretty well.
06:43I was just telling Avi that I don't like that nice.
06:50Let me just say this. Apple tree.
06:55Did you make that, Avi?
06:57But where's the dressing?
06:58It's on the way. He only has two hands, son.
07:01Maybe we want water and tea.
07:04Mm.
07:06I need white jeans, and I can't find them,
07:08so I have to go buy some.
07:10And I don't like this plastic hanger.
07:11We know this. Reba Sutton. A little awkward,
07:17but somehow lovable.
07:19So you're still working as a therapist, right?
07:22I'm quitting in September.
07:23How come? I mean, I'm 82.
07:26Shall we sit on the porch? Yeah, I would love it.
07:28I love the porch. Cheers, Reba.
07:30Oh, thank you. You want some ice?
07:32No, I'm good. You know, being tropical,
07:34I don't really have a lot of ice.
07:36Oh, well, you're English, that's for sure.
07:39What? This is so lovely.
07:42Thank you for indulging us in this.
07:46I have such an affinity for your daughter.
07:48I think she would give the shirt off her back.
07:50Do you know what I mean? She's just generous,
07:51and I think that comes from you.
07:52She would do that, and she's always been like that.
07:54Well, I'm so happy we're having this one-on-one time together,
07:56and I wanted to talk to you because Sutton and I
07:58have had intimate conversations.
08:01I know she loves me.
08:03I just don't ever feel like she likes me,
08:08and I don't feel like I've ever made her proud
08:11or happy as a daughter.
08:15You know, she's so proud of how far she's come,
08:19and she would just love to hear you say that you're proud of her
08:23and that you love her, too.
08:25I feel like I can say something to you.
08:27I don't think that's any of your business.
08:31I don't want to insult you, but I think you have no clue.
08:36You're right, I don't. I don't.
08:38I haven't lived with you guys.
08:39I haven't grown up with her. I don't know.
08:41You're right.
08:42I was just coming from a caring friend.
08:45Oh, you're giving me a message. Is that it?
08:47Maybe I am. Maybe I am the messenger.
08:52Why don't we go to the bathroom?
08:53Sure.
08:55Why don't we transfer some flowers from the living room
08:57and put them on this table?
08:59Great idea.
09:00Hello? Hello? Everything looks so nice.
09:02Is anyone down here yet to eat?
09:04Garcelle's talking to mom.
09:05What? Yep.
09:08In that room. Right there.
09:11I mean, I think for me, my mom being gone,
09:13I miss her so much, and I wish there were things
09:15that I had said to her.
09:16Death is final, isn't it?
09:17Yes, it is.
09:18You can't call your mother up and say da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
09:22And I miss ... I wish I could.
09:23I would give anything to do that.
09:25Would y'all like to join us for brunch?
09:27Yes, you look so cute.
09:30No, we've only been waiting since 8 o'clock.
09:33Why do you say things like that, mom?
09:35To show you love.
09:37Oh, okay.
09:38We all joke around that Reba's tough,
09:41and Sutton obviously knows her mom's tough.
09:43Ma'am, thank you for your time.
09:45Oh, you're welcome. That'll be $1,000.
09:49Somewhere along the way,
09:50Reba got really hurt and shut down,
09:52and that's what we're seeing.
09:55No, I know. I feel I know why.
09:58Sutton had a relationship with her dad
09:59that she didn't have with her mom.
10:02I think there was some jealousy there.
10:05What? Can I help you with anything?
10:07No. Let's eat.
10:08Great. This is a great color.
10:10They gave those to me because I ordered like 100 napkins.
10:14I get that.
10:16I get that.
10:18Oh, gosh.
10:19It's so nice.
10:20Maybe we should move those. We did it to be pretty.
10:22Do you want me to ... Here, give it to me.
10:23Do you mind? We put them ... That wasn't a good idea.
10:25I'll put it over there.
10:26Pretty for a second.
10:28This is so nice.
10:29Does anybody have any of these grits?
10:30Oh, it's hot. Oh, good.
10:31Oh, these grits are good. You didn't have any.
10:35I'm going to next.
10:36Okay.
10:37She thinks you put sugar on them.
10:39Some people eat them with sugar, but I don't get that.
10:41Only northern people.
10:43I love your home so much.
10:45I love all the houses in Augusta.
10:47They're all kind of different.
10:48The house where we grew up was built in 1933?
10:521938. 1938.
10:54So I was thinking that I might take them by and see it.
10:59It's just around the corner.
11:01It is just around the corner.
11:04I want to go back to my childhood home.
11:05There's one big reason. I want to show Kyle and Garcelle
11:08where I grew up because I did love that house,
11:11and it was wonderful.
11:13All of us had great memories in that house
11:16until December 23rd, 2002.
11:22So we're going to go see that house today.
11:24Yeah. And we're going inside.
11:26No, we're not going inside. Somebody lives there.
11:33Well, we might ring the doorbell.
11:35Oh, Horace, no.
11:36You don't want to go inside?
11:38Are you coming with us?
11:39No.
11:41So when my dad shot himself, my mother was home.
11:44She was in the kitchen.
11:46She knew that he was taking sleeping pills.
11:48He was taking Xanax.
11:49He was self-medicating with alcohol.
11:51There was a loaded gun in the house,
11:52and he shot himself right then and there.
12:00So maybe I do have a little pinned-up resentment.
12:06There, I said it.
12:10All right, so what's next?
12:11We've been sitting here a long time.
12:12Thank you for this. This is really, really yummy.
12:15Has your mom tried to deal with this at all?
12:19No.
12:23No, no, no.
12:26I'm going to go grab my purse upstairs.
12:27Where are you going?
12:28We're going to go see the house.
12:30Well, that's a lot I just said.
12:34We don't talk about this.
12:37I'll give you a full report.
12:40How old did these things go?
12:43Coming up, at my age,
12:45it would be better to have a child sooner rather than later.
12:49How do you feel about that?
12:50Hi.
13:09There you are. Are you ready?
13:11Okay, well, first off, this place is a disaster,
13:14but look at what's happening in here.
13:16Erica! Oh, my God!
13:20The cabana's getting evasive!
13:22The cabana is getting a whole new life.
13:26The wallpaper's going to go in over the weekend, but wait.
13:29Okay.
13:30Boom.
13:32Look at what some paint will do for a hallway.
13:36It's so exciting, Duri.
13:38I've been under a microscope since the day I left Tom.
13:41You know, financially, socially, emotionally.
13:45I couldn't have done anything right,
13:47so God forbid I spend anything I make.
13:50No way! You put a bow? I am blown away.
13:55I mean, there were some people that said I shouldn't even be
13:57able to work and have money.
14:00I've always loved this little house,
14:01but the energy has changed so much.
14:03You know, I just can't thank Martin enough.
14:06Like, this is huge for me.
14:08And you deserve it. Thanks. I appreciate that.
14:11After four to almost five years of hell,
14:15I'm excited about life again,
14:18and I feel really good about that
14:20because that's a signal to myself
14:23that you're returning back to normal.
14:25You're getting there. You're slowly making your way
14:27back to a place that you recognize.
14:30I'm not someone that sleeps till noon, and I was.
14:33I was sleeping till noon, if I got out of the bed.
14:37It's been a journey, and I feel good about it, you know?
14:46I got us some snacks.
14:54Ooh, this is so fancy. Look at what I got.
14:56This is white chocolate. This is caramel.
14:58And these are brownies. That's some sort of donut hole.
15:01And then these are some sort of cookie stick.
15:04Ooh, I'm so excited. Wait, these look so good.
15:06Girl, you're not supposed to eat it just like that.
15:08You're supposed to dip it.
15:09No. Oh. Okay, wait. Do we need any tea?
15:12Yeah. Or something to drink?
15:14Here you go.
15:16Do you want me to put it right here?
15:17Yeah. Thank you.
15:19Layal and I are really, really tight.
15:22It's just been her and I for 10 years.
15:24You know, what I do affects her.
15:26What she does affects me like there's no one else.
15:29What's been going on?
15:30Volleyball and my friends.
15:33Your little friends.
15:35Why do you say it like that?
15:36What, your little friends? Aren't they little?
15:38Do you want me to say your big friends?
15:39My what? My big friends?
15:41Are we your big friends?
15:43My big friends are good.
15:45Look, I realize that I brought up a very serious topic
15:49while we were working out.
15:51I do think it's important that you get to know Keeley
15:53because, you know, we're getting serious
15:55and I want you to have a good relationship with him.
15:57Yeah. Wait, quick question.
15:59Yeah. How long have you been dating Mr. Keeley?
16:01Oh, eight months.
16:03Because you told me in December.
16:05Yeah. But I don't know if you guys
16:06were officially dating yet.
16:07You just said you were friend and then you gave me eyebrows,
16:10so I didn't know exactly what that meant.
16:13You were like, so one of my friends is coming to Ghana.
16:19Girl, why are you imitating me like that?
16:22That's not how I talk.
16:23You probably didn't, but I didn't know
16:24if you guys were like dating, dating.
16:25Yeah, we were dating, dating.
16:27At that point, I mean, a man's going to fly
16:28all the way halfway across the world to see you.
16:31The first time La'el met Keeley
16:32was when he spontaneously showed up in Ghana.
16:36And I had to quickly explain to her that like,
16:38OK, so this guy I'm dating is coming to visit us.
16:41And she was like, where? In Ghana?
16:44I'm like, yeah.
16:46Things, by the way, are moving for me and for Keeley
16:48in a way that is surprising for all of us, you know?
16:52And as you know, your mom is not a spring chicken.
16:58OK. And at my age, it would be better for us
17:02if we wanted to have a child to do it sooner rather than later.
17:06How do you feel about that?
17:11I feel good about it.
17:13Really? I feel OK with it. Yeah.
17:14Tell me why you're OK with it.
17:16Like, I don't want you to be...
17:21I'm thinking of the right words.
17:22Use any words.
17:24Um, I'll be leaving,
17:26and then you won't have, like, a kid to raise anymore.
17:30Hmm. Do you want me to have a kid
17:32because you're afraid I'm going to be lonely?
17:34Mm-mm. I think our bond is changing,
17:36but not in a bad way, in like an evolving way.
17:40And now I kind of want you to share that bond with someone else.
17:42Hmm. OK.
17:44I am shocked at this response.
17:49I don't even know how she came to this.
17:53Where is my baby, who threw a tantrum
17:57when I suggested that there'd be another sibling?
18:00I'm just so thankful that she's open to this.
18:03And what about Keeley?
18:06Well, I think we kind of talked about this,
18:08and I think we kind of did it backwards.
18:10I'm like, would you accept a baby?
18:11Then I'm like, would you accept Keeley?
18:14I'm like, no, not actually.
18:16You're like, I want you to have the baby on your own.
18:18No, no, no.
18:20Well, I love you.
18:21I love you, too.
18:22Coming up...
18:23I remember when he died, I wouldn't come in this room
18:26because this is him.
18:28Yeah.
18:36Hi, Reba.
18:37She can talk.
18:38I'm obsessed with your mom.
18:40Whoa.
18:41Only one foot away.
18:42OK, I'll go on the other side.
18:43No, no, no, no, no, no. It's OK.
18:44No, I'm right here.
18:45I'm literally, like, I was going to...
18:48These people are expecting us, right?
18:49Yeah.
18:50My good friend.
18:51Who knows what the current owner's arranging?
18:53Oh, OK.
18:55We should take a left here.
18:56It's so beautiful.
18:58Now, look, this was the hill.
18:59We would ride our bikes down the hill,
19:01and it seemed so big to me when I was little.
19:02This looks like a scene out of Forrest Gump.
19:04This is the one part of the trip
19:05that I'm not looking forward to
19:07because the last place she saw her dad.
19:10I don't know what the emotions are going to be like,
19:14and that scares me.
19:16Oh, God, oh, God, oh, God, oh, God, oh, God, oh, God.
19:19OK.
19:21OK.
19:22Should we get out?
19:23I don't know.
19:25Are you changing your mind?
19:26Yeah.
19:27You OK?
19:28Yeah.
19:30I mean, it's just a house, you know?
19:34No, it's got memories.
19:35I know.
19:41No, shh.
19:43Do I just walk in the gate?
19:44Yes, go ahead.
19:45Oh, OK.
19:46Oh, wow, OK.
19:48OK.
19:50Hi.
19:51Hi.
19:52How are you?
19:53Good.
19:54How are you?
19:55Thank you for letting us come in.
19:56It's our pleasure.
19:57I'm Sutton.
19:58I'm Maureen.
19:59Nice to meet you, Maureen.
20:01OK, I'm just going to warn you.
20:02There might be some tears.
20:04That's OK.
20:05Of course.
20:06We want you to just walk through the house.
20:07OK.
20:08Take as much time, and yeah, just.
20:11That's really sweet of you.
20:12This is almost sort of the last step for me
20:15in my healing journey about my father.
20:18Thank you again for letting us do that.
20:20Thank you so much.
20:22Yeah.
20:24I want to say goodbye to him.
20:27I loved him so much.
20:30And miss him every day.
20:34Well, I'll show you my room first.
20:36I changed this bed from here to here, here to here.
20:39Only we'd have a little variety in our lives.
20:41Exactly.
20:42Move the beds.
20:43It's a good room.
20:45The breakfast room is really different.
20:48You know, I had the great privilege
20:50of being a daddy's girl.
20:53He didn't say a lot, but he liked me being in the kitchen
20:56with him, you know, making chili.
20:58And mom was a terrible cook.
21:01She always, she did, like, frozen fish sticks.
21:04So it went from really great food to really terrible food.
21:06The beds moved a lot.
21:08It's a nice sized room.
21:09Yeah.
21:09This is my parents' room, yeah.
21:11I always liked these scrambled egg sandwiches he would make
21:14on white bread with mayonnaise.
21:16People think they sound disgusting,
21:17but they are delicious.
21:19We just were very close.
21:22This was cool because my dad designed it,
21:25and then he also built it.
21:26Wow.
21:27And there was a wood-burning stove.
21:30He would actually make pancakes on that thing.
21:32John T. But I'm going to tell y'all something.
21:38This is the last spot where I saw my dad alive.
21:43And I can remember it so clearly.
21:45I was leaving for one of my last dance performances, actually.
21:49And I remember saying goodbye to him, and I tugged on his toe.
21:54He was real sick.
21:56Got him very out of it.
21:58And he died the next day.
22:01Whenever I would pass the sofa in high school
22:03or whenever, he would always hold his hand out,
22:05and I would slap, and he'd do that.
22:09He'd give me a thumbs up sometimes.
22:11And he was on that sofa, and he was out of it.
22:16And I was leaving, and he didn't put his hand out.
22:23That's always a little strange, and so I
22:24just grabbed his big toe and kind of pulled on it.
22:29And that was the last time I saw him.
22:35And I just, you know, those moments
22:37where you think I should have, like, sat with him or something.
22:44Like, beyond the tug toe.
22:48Because I'd come here to get some wine for the party
22:50after the performance.
22:52And just those little moments, it's just so weird.
22:57I wish I'd sat down, even for five minutes.
23:01And I feel really bad that I didn't.
23:05That was just so selfish of me.
23:10Just five minutes.
23:13Last time I saw him.
23:16I remember when he died, I wouldn't come in this room.
23:18Took me months.
23:22I just, I would stand over there.
23:24I couldn't come in.
23:25Because this is him.
23:28Yeah.
23:30You never know.
23:31No.
23:32Oh, you OK?
23:33Yeah.
23:34Yeah.
23:36I can't believe Mom said, when I said,
23:38I'll give you the full report, she said, I don't want it.
23:40I don't want it.
23:41It's probably painful for her, too.
23:43Of course.
23:44I think that my mother has had a rough go since my dad's
23:49death, or maybe before.
23:51And I want the next phase of my mother's life
23:57to be happy, and peaceful, and fun, and not strained.
24:05This is like years of therapy that I didn't have to pay for.
24:08She means a lot to me.
24:11And I want to make things right.
24:15Things have not been right since my father died.
24:18Thank y'all.
24:18Y'all enjoy it.
24:20Coming out with a smile.
24:21That was way more than I ever expected that to be.
24:24Me, too.
24:25Me, too.
24:46Hi, how are you?
24:47Table for three.
24:48Right over there.
24:49Perfect.
24:49Could I get some water while you're waiting?
24:51Yes, some still would be great.
24:52Absolutely, I'll be right back.
24:53Thank you so much.
24:54You're very welcome.
24:59Hey, boo-thing.
25:00Hey.
25:00How you doing?
25:01Oh my goodness, I love it.
25:02Oh, you look so beautiful.
25:07Oh, that looks fantastic.
25:08Well, hello there.
25:10Hello.
25:11Well, yes.
25:11Hello, gorgeous girls.
25:12You look great.
25:14Hey, boo-thing.
25:15Where are you going after this?
25:16I know.
25:17Look, the girls need to get out.
25:18You look hot.
25:19You look like you're celebrating life.
25:21Thank you so much.
25:23I mean, by the way, here's a drink menu.
25:25Oh, thank you.
25:26She's going to have the same old thing.
25:27Yes, I am.
25:28Belvedere soda with three lemons and no rind.
25:33You're welcome.
25:34Have you guys seen each other since Kathy?
25:35Which, by the way, I had a nice time.
25:37Oh, I had a great time.
25:38I literally was just like, now see,
25:40this table setting right here, I don't even
25:42know where to begin.
25:44How beautiful.
25:45Oh my gosh, this is absolutely beautiful.
25:48I got to, like, change my place setting.
25:52What do you recommend?
25:53Definitely best sellers up top are
25:54going to be the Great Woodfire Pizza
25:55Oven for our pizza course.
25:56All our pastas are made fresh in-house daily.
25:58You want a pizza?
25:59Let's get a pizza.
26:00Thank you so much.
26:01You're very welcome.
26:01Could I grab you another drink?
26:03Yeah, gotcha.
26:04I have to update you on so many things.
26:06Do it right now.
26:06Oh, god.
26:08OK, so.
26:11Y'all are some really ridiculous people.
26:13OK, so Keely and I have talked about having a baby.
26:17We've actually never said the words,
26:19I love you to each other.
26:20Wait a minute.
26:21What?
26:22Look at both of you.
26:23Look at both of you.
26:23Whoa.
26:24Whoa, OK, let's back up.
26:25Hold on.
26:26I need a moment.
26:27Whoa, I need two moments.
26:29OK, why I want him to say it first,
26:32I want to know that that's what he's feeling.
26:35I can hear that.
26:35I feel that.
26:36I do love him.
26:38I'm sure you do.
26:39And there are moments when I want to say it,
26:41and I'm like, ah!
26:42He has to say it first.
26:43I kind of agree.
26:44No disrespect, but having a baby,
26:47but not telling the man I love you, OK.
26:54Then, all right, what are we doing?
26:56Slider, margarita, pizza, eh?
26:59That looks delicious.
27:00Thank you so much, sweetheart.
27:02What do you think is going on?
27:04I don't know.
27:05I think it's as simple as, Keely,
27:06do you think it's weird that we haven't said
27:08I love you to one another?
27:08No, I'm not saying that.
27:09Hell no.
27:10What are you, fucking nuts?
27:11No, because I don't want him to be that, oh, no,
27:13but I love you.
27:14That's not what she said.
27:15That's not a good idea.
27:17Don't force the situation.
27:19I am acting on the belief that Keely loves me.
27:23I know he's going to say the words.
27:25We love each other.
27:26I know that.
27:27Do you consider that you are dating for marriage?
27:30Yeah, that's the only reason I date.
27:32Where are we in that process?
27:34It is me and you.
27:35Right.
27:36So why not continue the conversations
27:38about baby and marriage and our future
27:42while we build the words together?
27:46I don't see anything wrong with that, really.
27:49You guys have spoke to PK.
27:50What?
27:51Now you drop it on us.
27:52What?
27:53How is it?
27:54You mother fucker.
27:54How are we even in this conversation?
27:56OK.
27:57OK, wait a second.
27:57What did he say?
27:58I picked up the phone, and we start talking like we're friends.
28:04No, you didn't.
28:05This is a lie.
28:07I mean, where's my lipstick?
28:10I'm talking to him, and there is the father of my children,
28:16the man that I believed no longer existed.
28:20Let me not.
28:21I don't want you to get confused.
28:22I'm not.
28:23Erica, this is not a reconciliation.
28:27So what was it?
28:28I asked him, I said, I need you to just slow down a little bit,
28:32and let's just communicate.
28:34We can't be at war, and the kids be OK.
28:37This is about you and not about the kids.
28:41You're asking him to slow down because you
28:43want to catch your breath.
28:44It's not about the kids.
28:45I need you.
28:46You're absolutely right, but you have to understand something.
28:48Yeah?
28:49Catching my breath is about the kids.
28:51Guys, I want to explain it so it's not a confusing.
28:55No, I'm just trying to ask where you ended up.
28:59The conversation was a hell of a lot better and different
29:03than I thought it would be.
29:05It feels like a trick.
29:08OK.
29:10No, that I can guarantee you.
29:12All right.
29:13Because he's not that person.
29:17So who is that person?
29:19That's PK raging.
29:24Stop side-eyeing.
29:26PK is ruthless.
29:27He's ruthless in business, which means
29:28he will be ruthless in the business of divorce.
29:32I keep yelling from the mountaintops,
29:35hey, you need to take shelter.
29:38No one is listening to me.
29:40He needs to calm you down.
29:42This is the art of war right here.
29:44He needs to calm you down so that you don't act
29:47and so he can act.
29:48But what does that mean, though?
29:49What advantage is that?
29:50I don't understand the advantage.
29:52The advantage is that he wants to have the upper hand.
29:56If you are cornered like any animal,
29:59you're going to strike.
30:00He's afraid of how smart you are and how you will strike.
30:03He's calming you down so he can run the bases on you.
30:06Correct.
30:07Because legally, he can't go around town
30:09and scoop up everybody so that you don't have good counsel.
30:12Dorit needs to keep her eyes open.
30:15A divorce is going to come.
30:16It's going to take her totally by surprise.
30:18She's going to get the shorter end of the stick.
30:20You can't just stand still and wait for him to do things
30:25to you.
30:26You can't be a victim.
30:27You think this is a game?
30:29Yes.
30:30Wake up.
30:30Whoa.
30:31I was just saying.
30:33Holy s**t.
30:40Coming up.
30:42Why would you think I wouldn't be proud of you?
30:44Because you don't say it.
30:45I don't need to.
30:59Hi.
31:00Hey.
31:01Do you have that Parmesan cheese?
31:02See, I couldn't open up your messages
31:05about those ingredients.
31:07Why don't you go in the kitchen and look at the ingredients
31:10and see if you need anything.
31:11OK.
31:12See you soon.
31:15Hello?
31:16Hi.
31:17Hi, I'm just going outside.
31:19It's beautiful here.
31:20We had a little dinner, the girls and I, the other night.
31:23What?
31:24See the flowers?
31:25Yes, beautiful.
31:27But don't forget, we're on a FaceTime,
31:28so don't put the phone to your ear.
31:30Oh, OK.
31:32So I'm sitting outside.
31:34I'm getting late.
31:35Hold on a minute.
31:36Am I doing this right?
31:37Yeah, now I see the top of your hat.
31:39By the way, Mo and Portia leave today for Europe.
31:42Portia and I traveled to London.
31:44We're picking up her best friends.
31:46And then we're going to go to either Madrid or to Mallorca.
31:51He's dropping her off, you know, like a guided tour.
31:54We're a little chaperoned.
31:55And then he goes off for, like, four days to, like, Switzerland
31:59for, like, a meditation thing.
32:01And then he goes to meet P.K. and Glenn at Saint-Tropez.
32:04Oh, that's great, to go and meditate and be all spiritual.
32:08Zen, and then go off and party and undo it all.
32:10I know.
32:11Hi.
32:12Where's your mother?
32:16Sutton, let's go find your mother.
32:19Let's go.
32:19Did my mother text you?
32:21No.
32:23She didn't get my, um, I need, there's no bread.
32:30My mom got that.
32:32Gluten-free.
32:34I asked for a very specific kind.
32:37Then I needed cucumber, no cucumber in this salad.
32:41Then this, no.
32:43How can I help?
32:44Hi.
32:45You can't.
32:45I'm just checking on these groceries.
32:47Where's Reba?
32:48So I texted her, and she couldn't read it.
32:51She couldn't open up my notes.
32:53I said, once, when you get on your Wi-Fi, you could open it.
32:56It just needs to download.
32:57I thought she got it done.
33:00I don't care.
33:01I was very, very, very specific.
33:03I love crab cakes.
33:05My dad always made the best crab cakes, the best.
33:09And he gave me his recipe.
33:10Asparagus.
33:11I need iceberg lettuce.
33:12That is the most important part.
33:14My mother loved them so much when he would make them.
33:18Even the day after he died, she made me make them
33:22for a Christmas Eve supper.
33:25I burned them.
33:27We have to have the iceberg lettuce.
33:29I'll run and get it.
33:31Come in.
33:33Sutton's a little stressed out, and I
33:35don't know how it's going to go.
33:37I told her I have zero expectations.
33:38This is about getting it off her chest, and that's it.
33:40Right.
33:41The woman's 82 years old.
33:42It's not about changing her.
33:44No.
33:45Sutton is a little on edge, and I
33:47think that's understandable.
33:48She has been putting off this conversation
33:51that she has wanted to have with her mom for a long time.
33:54So I think it's really building up, and she's scared.
33:59That's what this is all about.
34:00She's scared.
34:01I'm waiting on my mother.
34:04Should we send Cheryl to go check up on her?
34:06Yeah.
34:07Cheryl, could you go check up on Reva, please?
34:09OK.
34:12OK, Dixie, I'm leaving you for a while,
34:13but I'll be back in a little while.
34:16So don't worry.
34:18She's ready for you to come over.
34:21Well, I'm on the way.
34:24OK.
34:24Bye, Dixie.
34:29Woo!
34:30Welcome to the humidity.
34:35Hello?
34:36Hello.
34:37I'm here.
34:38Good.
34:39Oh, some pickled okra?
34:44I love pickled okra.
34:47Do you want to have a seat?
34:49But, Avi, what are you doing?
34:55Sit.
34:56I'll make the crabmeat patties while we're talking.
34:58This is my capsule collection.
35:02This is your what?
35:03My capsule collection.
35:05This is what we've been working on.
35:07This is my all-sustainable green line
35:10that IJ for Sutton is bringing.
35:11Oh, yes, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
35:12The past two and a half years, I've
35:14been working very hard on my new business.
35:16We have started Sutton Green Line.
35:19And under that, I'm going to do a series of capsules.
35:22I liked this skirt.
35:25I would wear this skirt.
35:26So all the pieces that Brian just showed us,
35:28those are our first capsule.
35:29It's part of the first capsule.
35:31For almost all of my life, I've been wanting
35:34acceptance from my mother.
35:36She was always a career woman.
35:38And I'm so proud of her.
35:41I just want it to be reciprocated.
35:43Is this real?
35:44Yes, it is real leather.
35:47Oh, this is a jumpsuit.
35:48It's a trench.
35:48So this, it's really cute on.
35:52This jumpsuit, I just tried it on last week.
35:54It would look awful on me.
35:57Well, it's very complicated.
36:00And it's very intense work.
36:04Because every single piece that you see
36:07has a code that has to go to London,
36:10because that's where they're based.
36:12Oh.
36:12And it's super fast.
36:14And it all ships out from Houston.
36:16It's not easy.
36:17That reminds me of ground beef.
36:19Ground beef is labeled made in the US, and it's not.
36:25It's made in Cuba.
36:30I am going to take these products,
36:33I don't care what they are, where they're made,
36:35because I'm saving them from going to London.
36:37Well, I like that.
36:38Right, so it's not like ground beef.
36:40It's not anything like that.
36:41OK, this is good.
36:42They're talking.
36:43They're only in the clothing part.
36:44OK.
36:45OK, but still.
36:46So I'm going to cut up some lettuce.
36:47She's listening.
36:49What would you like to drink?
36:50Do you want me to help you?
36:51What would you like?
36:52No.
36:53Do you realize I live by myself?
36:56You want me to get it up, the crab meat?
37:01Yes or no?
37:02That would be great.
37:03What time are y'all leaving tomorrow?
37:06Our flight's at 2.30.
37:07At 2.30?
37:12What are these spoons in here?
37:14Are we having caviar?
37:17No.
37:18Who put this ice into the ice maker?
37:21Don't tell me.
37:22I already know.
37:24Have you eaten yet?
37:25No.
37:26Well, I have these dip things.
37:28I don't like stuff like that.
37:34So I was talking to John Clark last night.
37:36I don't know if she gets me or understands what I do.
37:40Oh, I think so.
37:41Really?
37:42I mean, she didn't say that.
37:44You just have ESP?
37:46Yeah, you can tell.
37:47I can't tell.
37:48I feel like she's so guarded.
37:51Well, I mean, you know, does she think about what
37:54she does for a living?
37:56I know, but we are not her patients.
37:59I was like, I just don't know if mom understands what I do
38:02or is proud at all.
38:07Why?
38:07Why are you making that face?
38:09I don't understand that.
38:10You don't understand what?
38:11I don't understand any of that.
38:13Any of what?
38:14Why would you think I wouldn't be proud of you?
38:18Um, I guess because you don't say it.
38:20I don't need to.
38:29Why would you think I wouldn't be proud of you?
38:34I guess because you don't say it.
38:35I don't need to.
38:40Well, maybe I need for you to.
38:42Well, OK, I'm proud of you.
38:44See, to me, it's kind of like saying I love you.
38:48It's so trite and so inconsequential.
38:51And people just say, oh, I love you.
38:53It's overused.
38:56I think your prelude to this point
39:00is I was the way I was because I always
39:03wanted to be a professional working woman.
39:06And that got impressed on you.
39:09And so you have actually become me.
39:15As a professional working woman.
39:18Yeah, it just took me time because I wanted
39:20to stay home with the children.
39:22Well, that's fine.
39:23Well, you gave me grief on it for a little bit.
39:26So what does that matter?
39:28You did it anyway.
39:30Yeah.
39:30And I don't think it's trite to tell your children
39:33that you're proud of them.
39:35I don't think it's trite to tell your children
39:37that you love them.
39:38You know, I've thought about that
39:39because that seems to be an issue with not only you
39:42but some of your friends.
39:45I have to go back to the way I was raised.
39:47OK.
39:48Which was WWII post.
39:51And in those days, like, nobody ever told me I was pretty
39:55when I was growing up.
39:57And it didn't matter whether I was pretty or ugly.
40:00I kept going because that was the way it was in those days.
40:05Remember, in those days, mothers put their babies in the crib
40:08and they cried.
40:10I guess if it's trite to you, I certainly
40:15don't want to make you do anything
40:16that is not real for you.
40:20I just wanted to let you know how I feel.
40:23Oh, thank you very much for telling me that.
40:25You know, I have my show.
40:27I'm doing a fashion show for this capsule.
40:30And it's a big deal for me.
40:33I know that you don't like to travel,
40:36but it would be really great if you could.
40:38I don't mind traveling at all.
40:41OK.
40:43I might could come to California.
40:46I think I could do that.
40:50That would speak volumes to me.
40:55Does that mean I have to sleep in Phillip's room?
41:02Where would you like to sleep?
41:03I don't know, is the aquarium still in there?
41:05Because I can't sleep with that fish in there.
41:07OK, I just want better.
41:12We can do better.
41:14I know we can.
41:15Yeah.
41:19I'm just overwhelmed that she's saying we can do better.
41:24And it gives me such hope for our relationship going forward.
41:28I'm coming in for the hug.
41:30You don't have to hug me back, but I'm coming in.
41:32It means I have to stand up.
41:33No, you don't.
41:34No, I'll hug you.
41:36I'm going to make crab cakes.
41:37Mm.
41:39That was a good one.
41:43What?
41:44Your hair was in my face.
41:47OK.
41:48I'm going to bring my friends down.
41:52Excuse me, Mom.
41:56I'm calling you down.
41:58We're already down.
42:00What?
42:01Are you OK?
42:02Yes.
42:03It all went really well.
42:06It was very calm.
42:08Good.
42:08She's coming to the fashion show.
42:10I'm so proud of you.
42:11Yes.
42:13I'm exhausted.
42:14Do you feel better?
42:15I do.
42:16Actually, I do.
42:17Good.
42:18OK, well, now I can make these crab cakes.
42:22Open wide.
42:28Well, dinner is ready.
42:29I smell crab cakes.
42:31I know, it smells really good.
42:33Sutton, I'm excited to try your crab cakes.
42:35Bon appetit.
42:36Thank you, Sutton.
42:38The salad is good.
42:40Good job.
42:41And I leave here with a smile on my face.
42:44And I want to be a better daughter.
42:47A friend.
42:48And a friend.
42:51Yeah, good.
42:52So I'm leaving y'all with cleanup duty.
42:55Goodbye.
42:56I love it.
42:57I love it.
43:05Next time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
43:08Fourth of July, we do a barbecue.
43:11Come on into the house.
43:12I'm not comfortable here.
43:13She was in.
43:14Y'all want to coddle her, coddle her.
43:15Stop being Dorit's spokesperson.
43:18I'm having a conversation with her and everything
43:20she said, you have to back up.
43:21I was thinking and listening.
43:25You're such a bitch.
43:26Don't call me a bitch in my home, for f***'s sake.
43:29I'm leaving.
43:30Don't be a douche.
43:34Oh my god.
