00:05when the Lakers got Luca, um, saying that it was the NBA trying to stir up, um, some

00:11controversy, getting ratings up, uh, getting the Lakers to, uh, an NBA finals would also

00:18be perfect if it was Lakers Celtics reignite that rivalry.

00:23Jason Tatum was asked about facing off with the Lakers on Saturday.

00:26Uh, here's what he had to say.

00:28I obviously understand the history between the Lakers and Celtics.

00:31I would say from my time in the league, like I wouldn't look at the Lakers as rivals.

00:36We only play them twice.

00:37You know, the teams that we played over and over again in the, in the playoffs, Philly

00:42would be one of them.

00:43And, you know, the other teams as well.

00:45Um, but you, you respect and understand the history and all the, the guys that wore the

00:51Lakers and Celtics uniform and what it means to the game of basketball and NBA.

00:56It's an honor to be a part of that for sure.

00:59So, you know, I'm certain everybody's looking forward to that matchup, um, as they do, you

01:04know, every single year, Curt Spearcy, I'm just going to dive headfirst into this.

01:16I consider teams that we play in the post season, like the Sixers.

01:20Um, this, if what Curtis has predicted will be true, that little sound that you just heard

01:27will be played over and over and over in every commercial for a lead up to a Celtics Lakers

01:34rivalry NBA finals.

01:36You know what else will be percolating at the time?

01:41The Celtics Lakers history being relived in living color on HBO.

01:46As you approach that game, Celtics city is going to be all over the country.

01:50As they people relive magic and bird, that's going to be what five weeks from now.

01:55So you're looking at two into, you know, beginning of May, I, or mid April.

02:00And I just sit here and it's like, I understand wiggy side.
