दिल्ली: देश के रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने आईएएनएस से खास बातचीत में तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एमके स्टालिन के परिसीमन के खिलाफ दिए बयान पर कहा कि मुझे लगता है कि स्टालिन को परिसीमन करने देना चाहिए। अगर कहीं कोई आपत्ति है तो वो उठा सकते हैं। जो भी संबंधित फोरम होगा, वो इस पर विचार करेगा और जो उचित होगा वो तय करेगा। लेकिन देश के सभी नागरिकों को आश्वस्त रहना चाहिए कि मेरा मानना है कि हर राज्य में, चाहे वो विधानसभा की सीटें हों या लोकसभा की, सीटों की संख्या स्वाभाविक रूप से बढ़ेगी। तमिलनाडु, आंध्र प्रदेश, कर्नाटक और केरल में बढ़ेगी, इसलिए ये कहना सही नहीं होगा कि सीटें सिर्फ़ उत्तर भारत में बढ़ेंगी और दक्षिण भारत में नहीं बढ़ेंगी।
