00:00A group of Malaysians who filed a RM60 million class-action lawsuit against Prime Minister

00:06Anwar Ibrahim, the World Health Organization and 23 others over alleged health complications

00:11and deaths linked to COVID-19 vaccinations have withdrawn their case.

00:18High Court Judge Justice Raja Ahmad Mohsenuddin Shah Raja Mohsen ordered the plaintiffs to

00:23pay the defendants RM8,000 in costs but allowed them to refile the suit.

00:29Their lawyer, Zainuddin Abu Bakar, said they withdrew the case to reassess their legal

00:33strategy and refine the list of defendants.

00:36Raja Ahmad had previously told the plaintiffs to consider refiling due to a lack of scientific

00:41evidence, urging them to thoroughly evaluate their facts and evidence before initiating

00:46any legal action.

00:49The plaintiffs alleged that they were adversely affected by the government's negligent and

00:53erroneous public health policy mandating vaccination during the COVID-19 pandemic.

00:59They also demanded the cancellation of the national COVID-19 immunization program and

01:04approval for alternative treatments like ivermectin and colchicine.

01:09The lawsuit originally named multiple high-profile figures, including WHO Director-General Tedros

01:14Ethanam Ghebreyesus, former Prime Ministers Mukhideen Yassin and Ismail Sabryakob, and

01:20former Health Minister Khairi Jamaluddin.
