00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World, my name's Theo Huston-Betts and today I'm out in Manchester
00:03asking people about transport and specifically trains. Now there's a bunch of train stations in
00:07Manchester and it's a big part of this city's economy because it gets people into the city
00:11visiting and spending their money, but it's recently been announced which train stations
00:15have to deal with the most amount of cancellations and Manchester does not come out particularly well
00:20so we want to know what people's most recent experiences have been with the trains coming
00:24in and out of Manchester. We got the metro in today, it's usually fine, no problems with the
00:29metro. The problem with rail services I think is the price now. The train for me, if it's one ever
00:35on time, is miraculous. I'm telling you it's extremely expensive, it's like 15 quid to go
00:3925 minutes. I'm just going to drive. I was lucky to get a train up to Edinburgh, it's like £150
00:44for one person, just the price of it really is getting, I find they're quite reliable but the
00:48price is extortionate sometimes. I haven't experienced many cancelled trains but I've
00:52experienced like things slowing you down and there's like, there always seems to be like 100
00:57people working on the ticket stands doing nothing.
