At least ten passengers were injured due to an escalator malfunction at the MRT-3 Taft Avenue station last Saturday, March 8.
In a statement, the Department of Transportation (DOTr), MRT-3, and its maintenance provider, Sumitomo Corporation, announced that the escalator had been successfully repaired and was reopened and fully operational as of 5:33 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11. (Video courtesy of MRT-3)
