00:00Former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yacob says he will continue assisting the Malaysian Anti-Corruption
00:07Commission in its investigation into a corruption and money laundering case linked to him.
00:13Ismail spent several hours providing a statement to MACC at its headquarters in Putrajaya today,
00:19with a source from the anti-graft agency telling FMT that he is expected to return again tomorrow

00:25MACC Chief Commissioner Azambaki previously said Ismail was being called in as a suspect
00:30in an investigation into four of his former senior officers.
00:34About RM170 million in cash and 60 kilograms of gold bars, worth nearly RM6.7 million,
00:42were seized in raids conducted at the residences of the four officers and three other premises
00:47believed to be safe houses.
00:49Ismail, who was questioned by MACC on February 19, collapsed at home on February 22 and was
00:56hospitalized for blood pressure-related problems.
00:59He was initially scheduled to provide a statement at MACC's headquarters in Putrajaya on March
01:045, but this was postponed after he submitted a medical certificate.
01:08A later appointment on March 7 was also postponed after he submitted another medical certificate.
01:14Last Friday, MACC officials interviewed the doctor treating Ismail to determine his health
01:19condition and whether it was serious enough to warrant the consecutive medical certificates.
