00:00Shahan-e-Ramadhan, Shahan-e-Ramadhan, Shahan-e-Ramadhan
00:17Walik-e-karam kahe ishara Shahan-e-Ramadhan
00:21Welcome back, dear viewers.
00:23In this program, we have with us the renowned Ulema of Pakistan,
00:27Mufti Muhammad Sohail Raza Amjadi, Mufti Ahsan Naveed Niazi,
00:30Professor Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Qadri,
00:34and we welcome you all.
00:36Today, God willing, we will talk about the Quran.
00:40We eventually read the Quran,
00:45but I will still call those people great,
00:48who at least read the Quran regularly during Ramadan.
00:52Because there is such a large percentage of people
00:55who do not read the Quran during Ramadan.
00:59They do not fast during Ramadan.
01:02They do not fast during Ramadan.
01:05Unfortunately, such people are a part of our society.
01:08May Allah grant them guidance,
01:10because, wa ma taufiqi illa billah.
01:12Other than that, we need to,
01:14like the Ulema said in the last few days,
01:17Mufti Muhammad Sohail Raza Amjadi was advising a woman
01:20to make her understand with great wisdom
01:23that she should come to fast,
01:25and keep fast in front of her.
01:27May Allah grant us love for the Quran.
01:31When we love the Quran,
01:33we will automatically be drawn towards the pillars of Islam.
01:39Today, our topic is the Quran.
01:43Is it only permissible to read the Quran?
01:48And if it is permissible, then tell me its excellence.
01:51In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful.
01:54Look, it is in the Holy Quran,
01:57that the verses are recited to them.
02:01When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came,
02:05one of the purposes of his prophethood
02:10was that he recites the verses of Allah to the creation.
02:16So, what does it mean to recite?
02:19This was the way of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
02:24Secondly, what did Allah say in the Holy Quran?
02:29One is,
02:30فَقْرَأُوْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ
02:33that you should read from the Quran
02:35from where you find it easier.
02:37So, what does it mean?
02:39فَقْرَأُوْ
02:40Read it.
02:41Similarly, Allah said in another place,
02:43وَرَتِّلِلْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلًا
02:46that you should read the Quran very carefully.
02:50I have presented to you these three verses.
02:52There are other verses as well.
02:54Now, let's come to the Hadith.
02:56The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says,
03:00مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرَفَمْ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ
03:04Whoever recites one letter from the Quran,
03:08that is, from the Book of Allah,
03:11Allah says, he has done ten good deeds for him.
03:14And Allah says,
03:15لَا قُلُوا أَلِفْ لَا مِمْ حَرَفًا
03:17I don't say that there is only one letter in Alif Lam Mim.
03:19The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, himself is saying this.
03:21Allah says,
03:22بَلْكَيْ أَلِفْ أَلَيْدَهِ لَامْ أَلَيْدَهِ مِمْ أَلَيْدَهِ
03:26That is, if someone recites only Alif Lam Mim,
03:30Allah will grant him thirty good deeds.
03:34There is no such book in the world
03:37which has a reward on seeing,
03:40which has a reward on touching,
03:43which has a reward on reading,
03:45which has a reward on understanding.
03:47This Quran is the only word of Allah,
03:50this Masaf Sharif,
03:51that if it is visited, it is a reward.
03:55If it is touched, it is a reward.
03:58If it is read, it is a reward.
04:01If it is learned, it is a reward.
04:03If it is understood, it is a reward.
04:06If it is practiced, it is a reward.
04:08In the end, I will say,
04:10remember,
04:11that reciting the Quran,
04:13some people say,
04:15that what is like a parrot,
04:17what is like a parrot,
04:18what is like a parrot,
04:19reciting like a parrot,
04:20one should not say like this,
04:21it goes too far,
04:23that those who read the Quran,
04:24are being compared to a parrot.
04:26God forbid,
04:27God forbid,
04:28you are belittling the recitation of the Quran,
04:31God forbid,
04:32it will go too far.
04:34The recitation of the Quran,
04:35was said by my master.
04:37That is why,
04:38the recitation of the Quran,
04:40is a reward.
04:41It is a reward.
04:42But not understanding it,
04:44is a reward upon reward.
04:46It is a gold upon gold.
04:48It is a light upon light.
04:50There is a tradition,
04:51that whoever learns a verse of the Quran,
04:54is better than the one,
04:55who recites 100 Nawafil.
04:57Whoever learns a chapter of the Quran,
05:00is better than the one,
05:01who recites 1000 Nawafil.
05:03God is great,
05:04God is great.
05:05Hazrat,
05:06we were talking about reciting the Quran,
05:08so what is the virtue of reciting the Quran,
05:10with its translation.
05:11And some people say,
05:12that it should not be recited.
05:14Is this right?
05:15In the name of Allah,
05:16the most merciful,
05:17the most compassionate,
05:18the most merciful,
05:19the most merciful,
05:20the most compassionate,
05:21the most compassionate,
05:22the most compassionate,
05:23This is absolutely wrong.
05:24The Holy Quran,
05:25has itself mentioned,
05:27that one should contemplate upon it,
05:29contemplate upon it.
05:30Now,
05:31pick up Surah Saad,
05:32Allah Almighty says,
05:41This is a blessed book,
05:43which we have revealed to you,
05:45so that people should contemplate upon it,
05:48contemplate upon it,
05:49and get wise advice from it.
05:52This is what Allah Almighty is saying,
05:54in the Holy Quran.
05:56Pick up Surah Yusuf,
05:57Allah Almighty says,
06:03No doubt,
06:04we have revealed the Arabic Quran,
06:06so that you may understand.
06:08Then,
06:09pick up Surah Muhammad,
06:10Allah Almighty says,
06:16Why do they not contemplate upon the Quran?
06:19Why do they not contemplate upon it?
06:20Rather,
06:21there are locks on their hearts.
06:22Pick up Surah Al-Qamar,
06:23Allah Almighty says,
06:28And We have made it easy for us to remember the Quran,
06:31and to take advice from it.
06:33So,
06:34there is someone who remembers it,
06:35there is someone who takes advice from it.
06:37Now,
06:38the Quran itself is stating,
06:40that one should contemplate upon it,
06:41one should contemplate upon it,
06:43one should get advice from it.
06:45And then,
06:46in Surah Al-An'am,
06:47where it says,
06:48mention the book,
06:49it is a book of blessings,
06:50it says,
06:52So,
06:53follow it,
06:54follow it.
06:55Now,
06:56tell me,
06:57the one who knows Arabic,
06:58he is fine,
06:59without translation,
07:00he will contemplate upon it,
07:01he will contemplate upon it,
07:02he will get advice from it,
07:03and after reading it,
07:04he will try to act upon it.
07:06But,
07:07the one who does not know Arabic,
07:08does not understand Arabic,
07:09then how will he contemplate upon it,
07:10contemplate upon it,
07:11in this Quran?
07:12How will he get advice from it?
07:14And how will he act upon it?
07:16How will he understand it?
07:17Certainly,
07:18through translation and commentary.
07:19So,
07:20for that,
07:21it is a commandment.
07:22It is a right of the Quran,
07:23that along with its recitation,
07:24one should contemplate upon it.
07:25When one has to contemplate upon it,
07:26when one has to act upon it,
07:27then it is necessary to read the translation,
07:29the commentary.
07:30It is necessary.
07:31Yes,
07:32this is a different thing,
07:33that if a translation
07:34is included in the Aghla'at,
07:35then to say about a specific translation,
07:36that this translation is included in the Aghla'at,
07:38that this translation should not be read,
07:40this is a different thing.
07:41If someone recommends,
07:42that a particular translation or commentary,
07:44is more excellent,
07:45this is a different thing.
07:46But,
07:47to directly say,
07:48that the Quran should not be read,
07:49along with the translation,
07:50or to discourage it,
07:51this is a wrong thing.
07:52And,
07:53one more thing is necessary,
07:54that sometimes,
07:55things are mixed up.
07:56One is,
07:57to read the Quran,
07:58along with the translation.
07:59And,
08:00one is,
08:01to read only the Urdu translation,
08:02and to consider oneself,
08:03a scholar and a Mufti,
08:04and to start reasoning,
08:05about the issues with it.
08:06These are two different things.
08:07We encourage,
08:08to read the Quran,
08:09along with the translation and commentary,
08:10but we say,
08:11that the one whose work is done,
08:12should do it.
08:13You should get advice from him.
08:14But,
08:15when it comes to reasoning,
08:16when it comes to reasoning,
08:17when it comes to reasoning,
08:18when it comes to reasoning,
08:19then,
08:20there is a whole decorum for it.
08:21Only the Urdu translation,
08:22is not enough for him.
08:23In fact,
08:24it is necessary to have expertise,
08:25in many sciences and arts.
08:26So,
08:27read the translation and commentary,
08:28to understand yourself.
08:29But,
08:30he should not read it,
08:31and start considering himself,
08:32a scholar and a Mufti.
08:33Absolutely right.
08:34His work should be done by him.
08:35Absolutely right.
08:36Absolutely right.
08:37Here,
08:38a break.
08:39After the break,
08:40God willing,
08:41I will ask a question to the Doctor,
08:42that what is the best way,
08:43to understand the Quran.
08:44Now,
08:45we have with us,
08:46Mufti Muhammad Suhail Razamjani,
08:47Mufti Hassan Naveed Niazi,
08:48Professor Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Qadri,
08:49Professor Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Qadri,
08:50He is our guest.
08:51He is a very strong panel.
08:52He is a very strong panel.
08:53He is a very strong panel.
08:54Dr. Qibla,
08:55Dr. Qibla,
08:56regarding understanding the Quran,
08:57regarding understanding the Quran,
08:58I would like to understand,
08:59I would like to understand,
09:00what is the best way,
09:01to understand the Quran.
09:02to understand the Quran.
09:03to understand the Quran.
09:04I seek refuge with Allah,
09:05from Satan, the accursed.
09:06In the name of Allah,
09:07the Beneficent, the Merciful.
09:08The Messenger of Allah,
09:09peace and blessings be upon him,
09:11Upon Your Beloved,
09:12the Best among all creation,
09:13O my Lord, the chosen One,
09:14Deliver us from evil,
09:15and pardon us,
09:16what we have sinned,
09:17The Messenger of Allah,
09:18peace and blessings be upon him,
09:19delivered the Holy Quran
09:20to the Muslim nation,
09:22delivered the Holy Quran
09:24to the Muslim nation,
09:31which was sent to the Muslim Nation,
09:33which was sent to the Muslim Nation,
09:35by Allah, the Most Glorious and the Most High,
09:37His fundamental purpose is,
09:39The Quran is saying that
09:41I seek from Allah a light and a clear Book
09:43Absolutely
09:45Sadaqallahul Azeem
09:47That you have
09:49A light
09:51Light means the Prophet
09:53Now this clear book
09:55Now this clear book is
09:57An open book
09:59A clear book
10:01In terms of its evidences
10:03But the question arises
10:05How to understand it
10:07Now to understand
10:09You need
10:11Some methods
10:13When the Prophet
10:15Addressed the society
10:17It was an Arab society
10:19And it was an Arabic language society
10:21But
10:23It is not just Arabic and Arabic
10:25This is the Quran of the universe
10:27And in the universe
10:29Everything
10:31Humans and Jinn
10:33This Quran is for all
10:35The Jinn stopped and listened
10:37They became Muslims
10:39And when the Prophet
10:41Explained the miracles of the Quran
10:43The hearts turned
10:45And when the hearts turned
10:47The Quran became a part of their existence
10:49Even at night
10:51The Quran continues
10:53And even in the day
10:55The Quran
10:57Hazrat Ibn Abbas
10:59Says
11:01To understand the Quran
11:03So I say
11:05That all night
11:07We think about the Quran
11:09And in the day
11:11We act upon the Quran
11:13What an amazing thing
11:15Subhanallah
11:17He says that the Quran came
11:19And the Quran was revealed
11:21And the Quran was read
11:23And after 30 narrations
11:25The Quran was forgotten
11:27The mosques were forgotten
11:29The blessings of this Ramadan
11:31We became disconnected
11:33And we went back to
11:35The path
11:37Which leads to
11:39The open enemy
11:41So when we
11:43Explain from the book of Mubeen
11:45We will go to the open enemy
11:47Now you have to decide
11:49On one path
11:51O scholars
11:53The Quran
11:55The life of the Prophet
11:57We have to keep ourselves
11:59We have to go somewhere
12:01Or somewhere else
12:03So in short
12:05The best way for the Quran
12:07Instead of translation
12:09Or
12:11Instead of local languages
12:13Why don't you
12:15Make a small effort
12:17To go to the scholars
12:19And read so much Arabic
12:21To understand the Quran in the language of the Quran
12:23It is the language of my Prophet
12:25It is the language of Allah
12:27Then it will be easier
12:29And if
12:31For understanding the Quran
12:33There is not enough Arabic
12:35Then you should try
12:37You have to get a visa
12:39You learn English
12:41If you want to get a visa
12:43For the paradise of my Prophet
12:45Why don't you learn Arabic
12:47Subhan Allah
12:49You gave a good example
12:51To get a visa
12:53We do English language courses
12:55But the language of my Prophet
12:57We should learn
12:59At the highest level
13:01We should learn at the highest level
13:03Mufti Muhammad Suhail Ahmed Zardari
13:05There is another problem
13:07In our society
13:09That the Quran
13:11One should try
13:13To learn
13:15But
13:17Reading the translation of the Quran
13:19And deducing the result
13:21Tafseer, Mufassir
13:23Then
13:25Whenever there is something
13:27You don't know
13:29It is written in the Quran
13:31And in that
13:33Most of the interpretations are wrong
13:35Actually
13:37In our society
13:39Different creatures are found
13:41In this regard
13:43There is a creature
13:45Who has just become young
13:47We call it the new generation
13:49They
13:51They like
13:53Those who don't talk about religion
13:55They talk about religion
13:57They say
13:59It is right
14:01We all say that
14:03You should talk about something
14:05That is unheard of
14:07They like those things
14:09Then a new person comes
14:11If you allow me
14:13If you allow me
14:15They are not teaching religion
14:17They are increasing their ratings
14:19Similarly
14:21If someone asks us
14:23If we want to listen to a song
14:25We will say it is not allowed
14:27We want to listen to what we are told
14:29If someone asks us
14:31If gambling is allowed
14:33We will say it is not allowed
14:35They will say
14:37Tell us something that is allowed
14:39We will explain
14:41So now
14:43This trend is that
14:45If you talk about something
14:47That is against the Shariah
14:49You should listen to them
14:51One type of creature
14:53And he is saying something different
14:55Those who are searching for it
14:57And listen to it on social media
14:59I am talking about them
15:01There is another type
15:03This is a completely different creature
15:05They have retired
15:07Before retirement
15:09The life they lived
15:11Income
15:13Now
15:15There is nothing left
15:17No one is getting a lift
15:19Now I am doing research on the Quran
15:21Now I have come to the understanding of the Quran
15:23In that
15:25Whatever they say
15:27Allah's protection
15:29Have you ever seen a person
15:31Who says that I am doing research on the books of Doctorate
15:33I am nothing
15:35Without any teacher
15:37I am doing it
15:39I have not studied
15:41But I am doing a lot of research in the IT field
15:43I have never seen
15:45But this Quran
15:47This religion
15:49People have made it so cheap
15:51That whoever comes
15:53Experiences it
15:55I say one thing
15:57Read
15:59Read with translation and interpretation
16:01The translation of Allah's
16:03Faith is the treasure of knowledge
16:05And the translation and interpretation of
16:07Allama Ghulam Sayyidi
16:09Is the Quran
16:11Like
16:13Pir Karam Shahzadi
16:15Tafseer and translation of Zia ul Quran
16:17Read it
16:19If you want to understand something
16:21Go and ask Allama
16:23Why?
16:25There is a reason
16:27In the Quran
16:35That
16:37The term of a widow
16:39Is four months and ten days
16:41In another place it is one year
16:43Both are verses of the Quran
16:45Tell me
16:47Which one should we follow?
16:49In one verse
16:57Before dying
16:59Make a will for your parents
17:01And the other one
17:03All the parts are mentioned
17:05Which one should we follow?
17:07Which one should we follow?
17:09The scholars will tell us
17:11The interpreters will tell us
17:13What is the Quran?
17:15The people of the Quran will tell us
17:17Very good
17:19Ladies and gentlemen
17:21There is a break here
17:23You can call us during the break
17:25You can ask questions
17:27In the next segment
17:29We will collect your questions
17:31In the next segment
17:33We will collect your questions
17:35I will tell you
17:37How Mufti sahab
17:39Provided a very good solution
17:41He has told us the books of the Quran
17:43He has told us the books of the Quran
17:45He has told us the books of the Quran
17:47To understand it
17:49Go to Allama
17:51Learn it
17:53And then
17:55Read the Quran
17:57Welcome
17:59Welcome
18:01We will talk about the Quran
18:03Mufti Hassan Naveed Niazi
18:05I will collect your questions
18:07So that we can
18:09Go to the live telephone calls
18:11Read the specific Surahs
18:13And leave the rest of the Quran
18:15And read the specific Surahs
18:17All of the Quran
18:19All of the Quran is guidance
18:21All of the Quran is light
18:23All of the Quran is mercy
18:25All of the Quran is healing
18:27All of the Quran is guidance
18:29All of the Quran is healing
18:31All of the Quran is light
18:33All of the Quran is light
18:35In Ramadhan
18:37We should read the whole Quran
18:39In the name of Allah
18:41To the hearts of mankind
18:43With contemplation
18:45With understanding
18:47With interpretation
18:49And explanation
18:51Besides
18:53You should read the whole Quran
18:55With contemplation
18:57But if somebody
18:59you read the surahs because it is easy for him to remember them
19:02or he has a special kind of love for those surahs
19:07and that is why he reads those surahs in abundance
19:10so there is no harm in that either.
19:12A man, who is known as Huzoor, came to the Bargah of Al-Aqdas
19:15and said about Surah Al-Ikhlas
19:18that I read it in abundance
19:19I love this surah
19:21I love the surah
19:23So the Beloved of Allah, A.S. said
19:25I love this surah, I will make it a paradise for you
19:31There is a hadith of the Holy Prophet
19:33that he sent an army to Sariyya
19:36and in that army, whenever he was asked to lead the prayer
19:40he would finish the prayer on Surah Al-Ikhlas
19:44When he returned to Sariyya, he told Huzoor, A.S.
19:47that he used to read Surah Al-Ikhlas in every rak'ah
19:51and finish it on Surah Al-Ikhlas
19:53Huzoor said, ask him why he used to do this
19:56When people asked him, he said
19:59because this is the attribute of the Beneficent One
20:04and the attributes of the Beneficent One are mentioned in it
20:06so I like to read it, I love it
20:09So when people came and told this to Huzoor, A.S.
20:13then Huzoor, A.S. said
20:15inform him that Allah also loves him
20:21When he reads Surah Al-Ikhlas, Allah also loves him
20:26So Huzoor also said about Surah Al-Ikhlas
20:28that it is equal to the third of the Holy Quran
20:32So whether it is Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Yasin, Surah Rahman, Surah Muzzammil
20:37or Muawwidatain or any other Surah
20:40or Ayatul Kursi etc.
20:41If a person reads it in abundance because of his love
20:44then it is also permissible
20:46But we recommend that one should read the rest of the Holy Quran
20:51even if it is in abundance
20:53There is no harm in reading specific Surahs and Ayats
20:55Absolutely right
20:56Dr. Qibla, what are the rights of the Holy Quran on us?
21:00Allahu Akbar
21:01Which right of the Quran is not on you and us?
21:05Allahu Akbar
21:07Because when God has created
21:10So you can understand it like this
21:12and it is mentioned in Hadiths and in incidents
21:15I will speak very briefly
21:17There is a Hadith in which the meaning is
21:21that a master wrote a letter to his servant
21:25and the servant read it very forcefully
21:31and beautifully
21:33and the society listened to it
21:35but did not act on it
21:37Allahu Akbar
21:38This is our example
21:40Allahu Akbar
21:41I am speaking from my heart
21:43And the Holy Prophet said
21:45that those who are reading the Holy Quran a lot
21:50among the signs of the Day of Judgment
21:52there will be many hypocrites
21:54that the love of the Quran will not be in their hearts
21:56it will only be on the tongue
21:58The followers of the Prophet
22:00look at them carefully
22:02where is our society going?
22:04What are the followers of the Prophet saying
22:06to their followers?
22:08The way Qibla Amjad and Qibla Niazi have pointed out
22:13and what you have said in Sarnama-e-Kala
22:15Look at it collectively
22:17So how can we love the Quran?
22:21And what is the right of the Quran on us?
22:23Can we fulfill the right of the Quran?
22:25Allah has given all of his message in the Quran
22:30He has revealed all of his love for his beloved
22:33And he has revealed the ways of serving humanity
22:36And he has revealed the ways to reach the grave
22:38and the way to reach the hereafter
22:41How many people have made the Quran
22:43a part of their lives
22:46I will say this with great forgiveness
22:50We make fun of the interpretations of the Quran and Hadith
22:53that how can we call the other person a disbeliever?
22:55How can we call the third person bad?
22:57How can we call the fourth person a sinner?
22:59How can we call the fifth person a polytheist?
23:01How can we adopt these ways?
23:03Sometimes we are looking for the word Ummi
23:06Sometimes we are using the Quran
23:08to fulfill our selfish desires
23:10and to prove ourselves to be truthful
23:12and to prove others to be less truthful
23:18Are these the things of the times?
23:21And then we say
23:23that we will be among the successful people
23:26Tomorrow the Quran
23:28The Quran says that Ramadan and the Quran
23:31will be fighting for you both on the Day of Judgement
23:35The Quran must also be saying
23:38that this person did not learn anything from me
23:42but he used me for his own benefit
23:45and created misguidance in the society
23:47Beware of the time
23:49when the testimony of the Quran
23:51goes against you
23:53Because the Quran
23:55will be a greater witness
23:57than the messengers
23:59Don't take such a testimony
24:01which becomes a means of ruining your faith
24:04Love the Quran
24:06Embrace it
24:08and kiss it
24:10and when the Quran says
24:12to heal the believers
24:14make it a part of your heart
24:16and take it to the grave
24:18so that in the hereafter
24:20the testimony of the Quran
24:22will be useful for you and me
24:24May Allah give you more blessings
24:28We have some callers on the telephone
