00:00Lots to talk about as we head in the next week
00:02But I'll tell you what we were dealing with a lot of incoming weather for this week this time last week
00:09Let's roll the tape
00:12I mean, we're already seeing some problems in parts of West, Texas with you know high fire danger blowing dust and very low relative humidity
00:20That's probably gonna happen again on Tuesday one system comes through then is that big one comes out of, California?
00:25I think it's gonna do it again in that area north and west of it
00:28You've got a risk of snow and high winds to the south and east of it a severe weather threat basically
00:33southern central and southern Mississippi Valley on east
00:35But don't be surprised if some severe weather gets up into these areas for a time with that storm system
00:43Joe I think from a severe weather standpoint we had that nailed with you extending that severe weather risk up in the eastern
00:50Iowa where we currently have a high risk for severe weather and yet
00:55We're gonna get the snow and of course the other big story is the wind today already whipping in the Texas panhandle
01:02I've already seen gusts to 80 miles an hour in the Lubbock area and some clouds of blowing dust have begun to
01:08To disperse if you will what's in the cards for next week?
01:11Well, you look at the three things to know we think overall it's not going to be as volatile week
01:16That doesn't mean there won't be storminess
01:17But I don't think what we see next week is going to be as potent as what's unfolding in front of our eyes at this
01:22Hour the fire risk unfortunately does continue across West, Texas
01:26That may ease up for a couple of days Wednesday and Thursday as the storm comes out across the plains midweek
01:31There's going to be some snow with it for parts of Wyoming and Colorado. Maybe to the upper Great Lakes
01:36All right, let's take a look at the Pacific Joe because this area of cloudiness that we're looking at. This is
01:42Our bigger storm for next week. Yeah, we can always track these things from somewhere
01:47And this is the one that we're looking at that area of low pressure south of the illusions will move east and southeast
01:52and work its way to
01:53California by the beginning of the next week and by the middle of next week that's coming out away from the southern Rockies and added
02:00To the Plain States you can kind of see that at the upper level pattern for next week
02:03There you go, and there'll be some more wind with it
02:06Unfortunately Monday and Tuesday perhaps into Wednesday across parts of the southern plains is that low develops in here though heads northeast?
02:12It'll pull a lot of warm into it. There may be some severe weather, but the amount of moisture from the Gulf is limited
02:18However, there will be a stripe of snow from these areas into the upper Great Lakes as that storm moves on through
02:23Really quickly Joe about five seconds big story for the rest of the month the storm train does not stop out of the Pacific
02:29It's going to hit California one after another could be four or five more storms by the end of the month
02:34Meteorologist Joe Lumberg Joe. Thanks for joining us here on Accuweather early
