00:00Welcome to MEDIEN TV.
00:10The duo of the Inqualifiables are back with their Ramadan-esque festival, Agit Adam.
00:16And for this 8th edition, the Inqualifiables are on the front of the stage with this festival
00:22and in addition their tour Entre Amis, an itinerant show bringing together the most popular Moroccan comedians.
00:29With their mix of self-derision and social observation, the duo has conquered a wide audience in Morocco and beyond
00:37and this year they promise a unique experience between laughter and complicity by sharing the stage with other stand-up talents.
00:45This 8th edition started with the play Jaujab with Mohamed El Jem.
00:52I invite you to listen to Obeidllah Ehlal, of course he is a tumorist and a member of the Inqualifiables.
01:04Inaugurating this 8th edition with this play was for us the occasion to pay tribute to these great names of Moroccan theatre.
01:11We are a generation that grew up watching these plays, these comedians and this style of humour.
01:19Personally, this is the first play I saw with my father.
01:23We also wanted to highlight younger comedians and today it was an honour to be on stage with Mohamed El Jem.
01:35In Entre Amis, the Inqualifiables will offer a rhythmic show where improvisation and collective energy will take a central place.
01:43On their side, the audience will find Simo Sidrati, Haitham Miftah, Oussama Aramzi, Rachid Rafik, Ayoub Idri and Driss Emehdi.
01:52The tour, which started on 8 March in Casablanca, will continue on 15 March
01:57and they will be in Rabat for the closing gala of the festival in Githedam
02:02before continuing in Tangier on 17 March and in Fez on the 19th of the same month.
02:07As a reminder, in 2016, the Inqualifiables will be on stage for the first time
02:12with the desire to test their art and to see the reaction of the audience.
02:16What was initially a spontaneous project becomes a real phenomenon
02:20and, seeing the enthusiasm, they decide to structure their careers by selling their own production company.
02:26Their first show is a great success and opens the way to a series of performances
02:31where the number of closed-box performances has multiplied since then.
02:37I invite you to listen to the other half of the Inqualifiables, Amine Belghazi.
02:51When we launched the first edition of the festival, we thought it was a bold idea
02:56because at the time it was unthinkable and difficult to get people out in the evening after the tour
03:02because who says Ramadan says TV series and leaflets.
03:05And at the time we were surprised by the welcome of the audience and their participation.
03:10In fact, it was just that there was a void, there was very little Ramadan programming.
03:16We therefore came to fill this void and since then the audience is at the rendezvous
03:21and I hope it will continue.
03:27I hope it will continue, God willing.
03:32And music to finish and for that we go to Mayotte to discover the debate.
03:38A song, sorry, Sufi, which is danced by women.
03:45Dressed in jewellery and dressed in saluva, the traditional outfit of Maorese women.
03:51Carefully make-up, hands and arms covered with henna lace.
03:56Mayotte women sing praises to the Prophet Muhammad and it gives a dance of great refinement.
04:03The presence of this art of origin of Sufi is essential to celebrate the Eid al-Fitr,
04:08to accompany the pilgrims who go to the Mecca to welcome them back.
04:12It is also held on the occasion of marriage, commemoration, village festivities.
04:17It is a very appreciated village by the Maoris.
04:20Its Psalms in Arabic are composed from al-Qasida,
04:24a mystical poem praising the birth and life of the Prophet Muhammad,
04:28addressing love and ethical values dear to the Sufis.
04:32This form of debate is exclusively done by women of different ages and generations.
04:37Women's access to the Koranic school around the 1930s
04:41allowed us to learn this repertoire and make a feminine version of the so-called Sufi ritual.
04:49Let's listen to this excerpt.
05:42Thank you dear viewers for your loyalty.
