00:00An important victory here for Harts at Tyne Castle. They've defeated Ross County 2-0 in
00:06the Premiership to move back into the top 6, leaping over Motherwell who drew 2-1 against
00:11Simner. This was a really important 3 points for Harts given that there's little room for
00:16them in their quest to get back into the top 6. With 3 games in the split, before the split
00:21remaining, they faced Celtic, Dundee United and the Steelmen so therefore they knew they
00:27had to get the job done against County, who themselves came into this match with some
00:32hope of reaching the top 6 themselves. In the end, Harts were convincing winners, they
00:35didn't have to really step out of 2nd gear to get the job done. County were stuffy and
00:39limited. Harts took the lead through Elton Cabangu who moved through the first half and
00:43out of the second through George Grant. Towards the end, New Scotland call-up James Wilson
00:48started up front. To be fair, he was quite quiet. He was put in the shade by Cabangu,
00:54his 8th goal of the season since coming in from USG on loan. I'll say that Lauren Shankland
00:59who was omitted from the Scotland squad played really well as the number 10 role behind the
01:04front two. Benny Beningame also shone in midfield, he set up the opener and dominated proceedings.
01:11Stiffer tests probably await Harts in their quest to try and get into the top 6 but the
01:16way results went today, they're only 5 points off 3rd place. There's still so much to play
01:20for in this season, a very congested league table. They will though have to go to Celtic
01:25Park next which obviously will be very challenging. No doubt Neil Critchley will be pleased though
01:30with the 3 points. The Harts fans that left the stadium were pretty satisfied with their
01:34day's work in the sun. We're out finished, Harts 2, Ross County 0.
