00:00The second batch of OFWs who were victims of human trafficking has also arrived in IA.

00:10Homey, 176 Filipino victims of human trafficking in Myanmar arrived in the country this morning.
00:18Those rescued by Philippine Airlines Flight PR8502 who left Bangkok, Thailand
00:24earlier this morning were personally accompanied by some senior government officials.
00:36As soon as the victims arrived, they were immediately assisted, including psychological services,
00:42financial and legal aid from the whole of government team
00:45formed by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Migrant Workers, Bureau of Immigration,
00:50Department of Social Welfare and Development, National Bureau of Investigation,
00:53Department of Justice and IA Task Force Against Trafficking.
00:57Each of them received P50,000 financial aid from the Action Fund of the DMW
01:03and P10,000 from OWA.
01:06They were also referred to the reintegration programs and upskilling training of the DMW
01:10through TESLA to help them start again.
01:14It is to be noted that yesterday, the first to arrive in the country were the 30 Filipino victims
01:18of human trafficking in the country.
01:21The DMW called on the public to be careful against the suspicious job offers
01:26coming out on social media.
