00:03Derbyshire police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a motorcyclist was
00:09left with life-threatening injuries in a crash near Lady Bower Reservoir over the weekend.
00:13The incident took place just after 5.30pm on Saturday, on the A57 just after the junction
00:19with the Lady Bower car park.
00:21It saw an orange KTM Super Duke, which was travelling from Sheffield towards Glossop,
00:26leave the road and collide with a barrier.
00:29The biker, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
00:34His family have been made aware.
00:36Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, in particular anyone
00:41who has dashcam footage of the incident, the moments leading up to it or shows the same
00:45motorcycle prior to the collision.
00:48Anyone who can help is asked to contact Derbyshire police.
00:54An award-winning Derbyshire pub and restaurant has reopened its doors after a significant
00:58revamp.
01:00The Tickle Trout in Barlow welcomed customers through its doors again after closing at the
01:04end of last month for a revamp.
01:06Owner Chris Mapp gave us a guided tour of what customers can expect.
01:11The Tickle Trout in Barlow and just had a new refurb if you can tell me a bit about it.
01:16Yes, we've been open 11 years now so we decided it was about the right time to do a refurbishment
01:21and yeah it's been quite a project.
01:24It's brilliant what we've done, few changes, quick turnaround but it looks absolutely fantastic.
01:32We've changed the bar appearance and we've done a little bit down in the lounge but a massive
01:36change in the restaurant to make it nice and cosy.
01:38We've uplifted it a little bit so it's got a bit of class to it now as well.
01:42There wasn't much that we could do to improve it so it had to be something significant and
01:47that's what we've done.
01:48Are there any changes to the menu to go with?
01:51The menu we were perfecting just before we closed so the menu's in a good place at the
01:55moment.
01:56However, as spring comes together we are looking forward to try and getting all the new ingredients
02:02on our menu as well.
02:03So spring has sprung, we've got wild garlic growing, we've got all the baby veg growing
02:07so the menu will change now with the seasons.
02:10Much 80% of what we use here is from our farm, yeah, and that's really important to us.
02:16We know exactly where it's from, it's organic and that it does taste different, the flavours
02:20are amazing.
02:21Right, so I've had a walk round, got some video and pictures, anything that you're proud of
02:27the most for this?
02:28Yeah, I'm super proud of a couple of paintings that have been done by a local artist called
02:33Val Hudson.
02:34She is incredible, she's actually a regular customer of ours but she's come together.
02:40In a short space of time I've managed to pull out the bag of these two amazing pictures
02:45I'm super proud of them.
02:46They look absolutely wonderful against our new wooden mahogany wall.
02:51So yeah, they are great, proud of the whole thing, proud of the whole team actually for
02:55helping get this together.
02:57The design team which was Concorde and we've got G who helped me do this and also all the
03:03staff that helped get this back together.
03:04There will be some more changes coming along, we'll keep a look out for that on our social
03:08media.
03:09There are two great plans going into the spring and the summer but keep a look out because
03:13we are going to do some really cool new things as well to go with this cool new look that
03:17we've got.
03:18This is the girl that's made it happen, brilliant, one of a kind this one, really helped me all
03:22the way through, absolutely seamless the way we did it and we've done a great job together
03:27it's been fantastic.
03:28I can't wait for you all to go and see the Tiffle Trail.
