00:03Derbyshire Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to, who they
00:08believe may have vital information in relation to the murder of Alana Armstrong.
00:13Alana, 25 from Tibshoff and a young mum to a 6-year-old boy, died at the scene of a hit
00:18and run collision in Batley Lane, Plesley at around 8pm on Tuesday, November 26th.
00:24The collision involved an e-bike and a dark coloured 4x4, believed to be a Land Rover
00:29Discovery, which had followed two e-bikes before ramming one, causing the pillion pipe
00:34rider and the rider to fall off the bike. The car then drove off from the scene without
00:38stopping. Alana was riding pillion on the bike and was sadly pronounced dead at the
00:42scene. Police have now issued a CCTV image of a
00:46woman they want to speak to about the incident. She was pictured outside the White Swan in
00:51Meaden Square, Plesley just before 8pm on Tuesday 26th November.
00:57Chief Superintendent Dave Kirby said,
01:28who has seen the Land Rover Discovery that may have damage to its front end, or who knows
01:32of a vehicle matching that description that may have recently been repaired or had parts
01:36replaced.
