00:00I'll take you in.
00:02Good afternoon, Congressman.
00:04I'd like to thank you for actually being able to come out here and talk with us today.
00:08I have a lot of different, varying opinions.
00:10My question is, you talked about industry and the threats of war globally and internally.
00:16So with that being said, with our infrastructure for our government and our military,
00:20what's the plan to reignite and forge to rebuild and increase our infrastructure for our military needs?
00:26The reason I'm asking is because I don't want to be a part of that rebuild and increase.
00:31How do you get a part of that?
00:33Yeah.
00:34Are you a business owner?
00:36Say more.
00:38I guess that's why I can say that.
00:40So a lot of companies I'm a part of is with industrial hemp and we're able to create.
00:45I got you.
00:46Okay.
00:47All right.
00:49Okay.
00:50That's a good question.
00:52But there is that possibility for you.
00:55Certainly what we're doing is trying to realign the ability for small businesses.
01:02Because you have the primes.
01:04And ladies and gentlemen, prime companies are the big Lockheed Martin, Boeing.
01:08Those are primes.
01:09Okay.
01:10And when a prime is engaged in the Department of Defense, as you're asking, they are almost absolute.
01:16It's almost impossible to move into that space because they are so large.
01:21And what we want in Congress is for the ability, like you, sir, to have your company have the ability to get in and engage in the DOD like they have the opportunity.
01:32So that's where permanent reform, moving plans, and SEBS, which you would be, into a space that makes sense.
01:38Now, there's a lot of obviously red tape and bureaucracy that we have to wade through in order to do that.
01:45And I wish I could stand in front of you today and say, hey, it's going to be done tomorrow.
01:49That won't be the case.
01:50Now, as we move downstream and start to unpack this thing, I'm hoping that you will have that ability to get in there.
01:58Get on a GSA, the site that provides all the documentation, engage with them, and win those contracts without the proverbial nightmare of having to deal directly with a prime.
02:17Okay.
02:18All right.
02:19I'm going to pull something up that I just want to show you because we've got five minutes.
02:24Everybody take a deep breath.
02:27I'm going to show you these.
02:29I just want to show you these.
02:30Pull that slide up.
02:31Can you all see that?
02:34How about now?
02:36Zoom in a little bit.
02:38Make it open.
02:39Make it open.
02:40What is it?
02:41What is that?
02:42This is a burden.
02:45Hang on.
02:46Hang on.
02:47Hang on.
02:48Hang on.
02:49Hang on.
02:50Hang on.
02:51Hang on.
02:52This is our debt clock.
02:55This is our debt clock.
02:58Okay?
02:59Up top, U.S. national debt, $36 trillion and counting.
03:03$36 trillion.
03:04And it's almost hard to contemplate what that means.
03:08Like, a million seconds is, like, a million, let's see, a billion seconds is 31 years.
03:16If you're doing the seconds.
03:17How many seconds is a billion?
03:1931 years.
03:20A trillion seconds is 31,000 years.
03:2336 trillion is one billion years.
03:27And that's our national debt and counting.
03:29As I'm sitting here talking to you, every 20 seconds there's a million dollars added to that debt.
03:33I get it.
03:34I get it.
03:35Just reach.
03:36All right.
03:37You guys.
03:38Come on.
03:39Don't come off the wheels on me, all right?
03:4036 trillion.
03:41Two trillion is our deficit.
03:42That's how much we spend when we don't have.
03:43Every president in history has spent past that, except, you know, there's only one president,
03:49there's only one, there's only one president, there's only one, there's only one president
03:50in the past, like, four years as balanced as a budget as Bill Clinton.
03:51Job well done.
03:52Our revenue is $5 trillion.
03:56Your revenue is $5 trillion.
03:58That's how much money we draw in annually to pay for the things the United States government
04:11has to pay for.
04:14We spend $7 trillion.
04:15We spend $7 trillion.
04:16We spend $7 trillion.
04:18That's how much money we draw in annually to pay for the things the United States government
04:20has to pay for.
04:22We spend $7 trillion, we have a $2 trillion deficit.
04:27Now here's the problem.
04:28If you ever hear this, you can't see it very well.
04:31We have workforce.
04:32We're trying to increase the amount of workforce that we have in order to pay revenue to bring the $5 million and the $7 trillion together.
04:41Because we're spending more than we have in the bank.
04:44And that is a problem.
04:46And that's why we're trying to make the deficit cuts to get budget neutral so that's not a problem any longer.
04:56Okay?
04:58Who needs the thought?
04:59Alright, go ahead. Shoot.
