00:00Hey what's up y'all it's Nikki Bond and another episode of Doggy Dog Thursdays with Sarah from
00:14Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit. How are you today? We are doing well. How are you? I'm great
00:20and who do we have with us today? Today we brought Pugsley. He's a little about four and a half year
00:27old pug. He's very sweet. He's getting all the love over there right now. Yes he's in a just a perfect
00:33world. Can you rub my belly when you're done? Okay thank you. He's such a good dog. A lot of energy
00:41to be four you said four or five. Yeah around there. Yeah he's really good. He actually came in
00:46as a stray. I believe Animal Control brought him in and we've had him and unfortunately he has not
00:53found his owners so he will be available for adoption soon. He just has to get um neutered
00:59first. He's a little sneezy right now so just waiting till he's 100% healthy so he can go get
01:05the surgery done and then he is ready for his forever home. And what type of home are we looking
01:09for for Pugsley? Did you hear that noise? All his little snorts. I love it. He is good with we think
01:17he'd be good in pretty much any home. Um if you do have children or other dogs we just ask that you
01:23do a child and a dog meet first. But he seems pretty chill. I mean he's active but he also just
01:28likes snuggling. Yes. As you can tell he's got the little pug snorts. It's so cute and that face.
01:36He's very sweet. He's he's I mean he's pretty chill. He was very excited in the car. He wanted to look
01:41out the window and wanted to know what was going on but he's a good little boy. So cute. Now with
01:49Halloween coming up what do you think about um the costumes for your pets? Um our big thing I mean
01:55my big thing is as long as your pet isn't freaking out in it it's fine. I mean suggest you try them on
02:01your pet before and make sure they're okay with it. I mean you don't want to put it on right before
02:06you you know take them trick-or-treating or something. Give them some time to get used to it in the home
02:10where it's you know calm their normal environment. And if they're really uncomfortable you know don't
02:15don't do it. Don't make them do something they absolutely hate. But I mean a lot of them are
02:20are fine with it and they don't they don't mind. They're so cute and you have costumes with you
02:26thanks to Meyer. We do. Meyer actually gave us some costumes for some shelter animals to use at
02:32stuff like this when we take them out. So Pugsley is actually rocking a little cactus today
02:37and Meyer actually has a bunch of costumes in their stores. They have dog and cat costumes
02:44and it also goes with their new um not necessarily model but their redesigning of the stores where
02:52they have a much bigger pet section for you know your everyday stuff. So some of the other stuff we
02:56have is we have a little pica. Oh so cute. For your little dogs or cats you could do a cat. They have
03:02cute little things like bandanas and little collars. I love it. And then you can make a unicorn cat. How
03:08cute is that unicorn? We put it on the office cat. He was not thrilled but he looked really cute. And
03:14then for a bigger dog we've got a cute little panda. I love it. And you can find all these costumes
03:20and more of course at your local Meyer store. Yes. And if you want to see Pugsley and see Sarah's
03:27beautiful smiley face too you can visit them both at Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit. Thank you Sarah. Thank you.
